今日は朝から冷たく強い風が吹いていましたが、
お昼には暖かい日差しが子ども達を柔らかく包んでくれるような春らしいお天気でした。
それでは今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介します。

The Wolves practiced their vocabulary by saying as many school objects as they could.
They then paired those words with prepositions.
Wolvesクラスでは学校にあるものを使ってprepositions（前置詞）を学びました。
on, nest to, under, など実際にモノを動かしながら、
Where is ～？のフレーズと一緒にIt on the table/chair などを練習しました。
The children used shapes to learn about colors and then sang a song after.
Preschoolクラスでは様々な色や形について、歌を歌いながら学びました。
The children practiced -ing words and used that information
to identify characters in their activity books.
テキストを使って現在進行形~ingの練習をしました。
~ingが使われた文章を聞いて、テキストに載っている人物を当てるアクティビティを行いました。
During tech time, the children used the iPads to practice vocabulary with lots of fun games.
テクノロジーの時間ではiPadを使ってゲーム感覚で語彙の練習をしました。
The children stretched their knowledge of technology in a brainstorming activity, starting with the word TV.
They branched out into TV programs, games and other types of electronics.
子ども達はテクノロジーをテーマにTVという単語からブレインストーミングをしながら
様々な単語や事柄を連想していきました。
For spring, the children decorated and then cut out butterflies that they turned into puppets with popsicle sticks.
Cubsクラスではクラフトの時間に春にちなんでチョウチョを製作しました。
ハサミを使って線に沿って切り、クレヨンや絵の具を使ってカラフルにデコレーションしました。
最後にポプシクルスティックを付けてパペットに仕上げました。
For writing, the children discussed and wrote about the number of people in their families.
Wolvesクラスではライティングの時間に家族について話し合いました。
兄弟や親せきについても語彙の練習をしました。
Today the children played Marco Polo in GYM. They had fun using only their voice to catch each other!
Gymクラスでは子ども達に大人気のマルコポーロというゲームをして遊びました。
鬼ごっこの要領で、声を使ってお友達をタッチする新しいルールを楽しみました。
In music, the children practiced lots of Easter songs, just in time for the holiday!
ミュージッククラスではイースターの歌を歌いました。
During library time, the children picked out and read books about Easter and other topics that caught their interest.
図書の時間にはイースターについての本を手に取り、楽しんでいました。
