7月になり、七夕に向けて短冊に願い事を書き、笹に飾りつけました。
かわいいお願いが書かれた短冊が風に揺れています。
それでは今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介します。

The children enjoyed writing their wishes for their Tanzaku!
They wished for many things like new toys and to go on a nice holiday!
七夕の短冊に願い事を書き、笹に飾りつけました！
子ども達は思い思いの願い事を挿絵をいれたり、色鉛筆を使ったりして書いていました。
In Music class the children enjoyed singing new songs about space and planets!
Singing is a great way to learn new words and grammar.
ミュージッククラスでは“The Galaxy Express 999”（銀河鉄道999）を歌いました。
私たち職員にはとてもなじみのある曲ですが、子ども達にはとっては新鮮なようです。
The big challenge in gym today was to do a flip onto the mat!
It was a little scary but everyone tried their best to show off their new trick!
今日のジムクラスでは前転にチャレンジしました！
子ども達は少し怖がりながらも先生が手を添えて挑戦しました。
Yellow class enjoyed learning about places and occupations by making their own stories!
Everyone added one sentence to the story, and by the end everyone was full of laughter.
Yellowクラスでは場所と職業をテーマにオリジナルの物語を作りました。
一人一文ずつ文章を足していき、最後にはとてもおかしな物語が出来上がり、大笑いが起きていました。
The Jaguars had a fun challenge today learning about different places around our towns.
Then they practiced the differences between, cities, towns and villages!
Jaguarsクラスでは町にある様々な場所や施設について学びました。
その場所でどんなことをするのかについて、町・街・村の違いについても話し合いました。
The elementary school classes played a trivia game using a TV!
In teams they had to read the questions and then discuss which answer they thought was the best.
小学生クラスの子ども達はテレビを使ってトリビアゲームをしました！
子ども達は画面に映った質問を読み、どの答えが正解か話し合って決めていました。
The cubs practiced using many foods they know well.
Today’s challenge was to mix them together and see if they would like them or not? “Do you like banana soup?”
Cubsクラスは食べ物をテーマに歌を歌いながら“Do you like ～？”というフレーズを練習しました。
Children always enjoy story time!
It’s a nice break, and today they got to read about different foods and when we eat them!
Story Time“読み聞かせの時間”は子ども達も大好きな時間です。
今日の絵本は様々な食べ物と食べる時間についてでした。
During tech time, some children enjoy using apps to learn more about math and science!
This is a great chance to practice English in other subjects too!
Technologyの時間ではiPadのアプリを使って算数や科学について学びました。
普段使う単語とは違うテーマに触れることで語彙力もついてきます。
When writing Tanzaku, it common to write up and down, right to left.
In English it can be a bit difficult, but everyone tried their best!
短冊に願い事を英語で縦に書くのはとても難しいのですが、
子ども達はそれすらも楽しみながら短冊に願い事を書いていました。
