6月とは思えないほどの暑さが続きますが、教室では空気清浄機とエアコンを併用し
外あそびではマスクを外し、休憩時間の回数を増やして熱中症対策をしながら活動しています。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。

During circle time, the Chicks and Sparrows practiced the “Days of the Week” song!
サークルタイムではChicksクラスとSparrowsクラスが”Days of the Week”という歌を歌いながら月曜日から日曜日の曜日を学びました。
The children continued to play battle games in gym class. They ran around the gym and tagged each other!
Gymクラスでは子ども達は鬼ごっこをして汗を流しました。
Today during our reading time the children enjoyed an I Spy style book where they had to find all of the colors.
リーディングの時間では図書室に行き、“I Spy”という本を選びお友達同士で“ウォーリーを探せ”の要領で
決められたものを絵の中から探していました。
The Jaguars talked about routines, and discussed the different activities they do each day of the week.
Jaguarsクラスでは1日の日課をテーマに、様々なアクティビティ（朝起きて寝るまでの間の活動）について話し合いました。
During tech time we practiced our reading with Kids A-Z . We used the headphones to listen to the English while reading along.
WolvesクラスのTechnologyの時間ではKids A-Zを使ってゲーム感覚でリスニングとリーディングの練習をしました。
Using their ESL time, the children came up with several words and then made sentences comparing those words to other things.
They were very focused on a summer theme today!
ESLの時間には子ども達が様々な単語を挙げていき、その単語を使って文章を作りました。
今回は夏らしい単語がよく並びました。
The Cubs used their writing books to learn how to make a cross.
Cubsクラスではライティングテキストを使って、十字を描く練習をしました。
アルファベットを描くうえで基本となる縦・横・十字の線を描く練習です。
To learn about verbs, the Cubs used animal. They mimed the movements of each animal and played a fun guessing game!
動詞を学ぶべく、Cubsクラスでは動物のおもちゃを使ってそれぞれの動物の動きを実際に真似しながら練習しました。
For craft today, the Owls made a paper plate octopus.
They used their fine motor skills to thread pompom tape and make tentacles!
Owlsクラスではクラフトの時間に紙皿を使ってタコを製作しました。
指先を器用に使って紐を紙皿の穴に通してタコの足を作りました。
