温かい日差しの中、汗ばむくらいに戸外遊びを楽しんでいる子どもたち。
気温が暖かくなり蝶や虫たちを見つけては”Look！ Look！”と興味津々に観察していました。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。

The children played a category game where they had to guess words starting with only one letter and moving up to more if they couldn’t guess. Number six gave everyone a pause!
カテゴリーゲームをしました。先生言うアルファベットから始まる単語を子ども達があてていくゲームで、9番目の問題には子ども達も苦労していました。
The children reviewed the alphabet today and then played a fun activity with the letters they learned on the carpet.
カーペットに広げられたフラッシュカードの中から決められたアルファベットを探すゲームをしました！見つけられると子ども達全員で“Yay！！”と大喜び！
This month the children are playing battle games. in today’s battle game, the teacher called out a number and the children had to quickly make groups of that number. If they could not, they were out!
Gymクラスでは今日も楽しいゲームをしました。先生が言う数字の数のグループを作るというものでした。子ども達は早くグループを作ろうと必死に走り回っていました。
In tech time, the children have the opportunity to use iPads and our variety of English applications. Here they are doing vocabulary and reading activities.
iPadを使ったレッスンでは、ゲーム感覚で語彙やリーディングの練習をしました。
In today’s activity book, the children puzzled through a coded message. This was a great exercise and quite fun, too!
テキストを使い、コードメッセージを読み解き、パズルを完成させました。子ども達はすぐにコツをつかみ謎解きを楽しんでいました。
In reading, the children practiced strategies for phonetically sounding out words. Here they used finger blending to learn new words they would see in their books.
リーディングでは、フォニックスをテーマにフレッドフィンガーを使い、単語を読む練習をしました。
In music the children practiced the song “Bad Day” .
Musicレッスンではダニエルパウターの”Bad Day”を歌いました。
During reading time, half of the children went to the library. Here they picked books to read together.
Readingの時間に図書室に行き、子ども達が好きな本を選び読書を楽しみました。
The children played a guessing game, trying to figure out the food card the teacher would show them.
子ども達はGuessing Gameをしました。食べ物のヒントを聞いて、食べ物のフラッシュカードを当てるというものでした。
During their writing time, the children wrote about what they are going to be when they get older. This was a good opportunity to think about our futures!
Writingの時間には将来の夢をテーマに自分が将来なりたいものについて書きました。
