食欲の秋！スポーツの秋！読書の秋！実りの秋！楽しみの多い季節がやってきました☆
グローバルビレッジ サタデースクールの10月と言えばHalloween Partyです！
パーティー当日まで約1か月ありますが、
もうすでに今年のハロウィンの衣装を決めている子ども達もいるようです♪
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子を紹介いたします。

Today the children had a blast learning all about drums and xylophones!
We have to hold the sticks and mallets correctly to make the best sound.
CubsクラスではMusicの時間に和太鼓と木琴のセッションをしました♪
バチの持ち方、足の構え方を教えてもらい木琴に合わせてリズムを刻みます！
While learning all about places in our city, we were challenged to make sentences about what we can do there.
“We can go to the cinema to watch a movie.” Or “We can go to the supermarket to buy food.”
Jaguarsクラスでは町中にある様々場所や施設について学びました。
学んだ単語を使って文章を組み立て、それぞれの場所で何をすることが出来るのかを説明する練習をしました。
Crosswords are a super fun way to practice our reading and spelling!
We have to hunt down words, but be careful, sometimes they try to tick us!
This one taught us all about the things around our classroom.
みんな大好きクロスワード！クロスワードはリーディングやスペリングの練習にもなります。
教室の中にあるモノをテーマにクロスワードに挑戦しました。
Oysters everyone! We went on a shape hunt to find squares, circles, triangles and even more!
But while the teachers hide them, we made oysters to cover our eyes for the game.
オイスター！と言われると、しっかりと口を閉じた貝の蠣のようにカーペットの上で丸くなって目を閉じます。
その間に先生が様々な形（丸・四角・三角などなど）を教室に隠します。
Ready Go！の掛け声で一斉に教室の中に隠された形を探していきます。
Gym was such a blast! Many things were scattered about the gym, and we played hide and seek.
Find a good place to hide or be ready to run!
Gym中に障害物が置かれ、子ども達はその中でかくれんぼをしました！
Happy October first! Halloween songs are so fun!
Today we sang about scary monsters like vampires, ghosts and goblins!
10月になりました！ハロウィンの曲を歌い今から大盛り上がり！
今日はバンパイア・お化け・ゴブリンが出てくる曲を歌いました。
Outside play has so many choices! We chose to take a ride on the bikes.
But oh no! We had a traffic jam!
外遊びでは様々なおもちゃ中でもバイクが大人気！
人気過ぎて渋滞が出来ています…しっかりと順番待ちして元気に遊びました。
Food! One of our favorite things to learn about! We sang “Do You Like Broccoli Ice Cream?”
We used many foods to make silly combinations like banana soup and fish doughnuts!
みんなが大好きな”Do You Like Broccoli Ice Cream?”の曲。いろんな食べ物を組み合わせていました。
ブロッコリーとアイスクリームは美味しいかな？おいしくないかな？
We will be finishing a unit soon, so we tried our best to do a listening activity to prepare for the YLE exams.
It’s good practice to prepare for them little by little.
もうすぐ取り組んでいるテキストの章が終わりそうです！
章の終わりにはYLEテストに向けたリスニングの練習をしました。
Kids A-Z is always a great time. There are books for many levels and topics.
We can always find something interesting to read
Kids A-Zではたくさんのレベルやトッピクスの本を読むことが出来ます。
子ども達はそれぞれに興味のある物語を読んでいます。
