いつの間にか、セミの声がコオロギの声に変わり、季節はどんどんと秋に近づいてきました。
こんがりとやけた子どもたちの顔に、このひと夏の成長を感じているこの頃です。
それでは、9月初めのサタデースクールの様子を紹介します♪
The Jaguars learned about places in town and talked about what we can see and do at each place!
Jaguarsクラスでは町での暮らしについて学びました。映画館やプール、郵便局など様々な場所でどんなことが出来るのか話し合いました。
The Wolves learned about pets and verbs in their communication and language lesson. They reviewed which animals are pets, and which are wild. Then, they formed sentences using the verbs!
Wolvesクラスではペットと動詞について学びました。動物のフラッシュカードを使ってどの動物はペットにできるかについて話し合った後、習った動詞を使って文章を組み立てていきました。
The Chicks sang “If You’re Happy” to practice expressing how they were feeling today.
Chicksクラスでは”If You’re Happy”（幸せなら手をたたこう）という歌を歌いながら、気持ち（happy, sad,sleepyなど）を表現しました。
The Sparrows and Owls played musical hoops in gym time. They ran until the music stopped, then had to find the color that was called.
SparrowsクラスとOwlsクラスでは椅子取りゲームならぬ、フラフープ取りゲームをGymの時間にしました。音楽が止まるとフープに入るというものです。
The Foxes learned about natural disasters and learned how we can stay safe when they occur.
Foxesクラスでは自然災害について学びました。災害が起きた際にどのような行動をとるべきなのかについて話し合いました。
The Chicks reviewed food during circle time. They used food toys to practice expressing what they like to eat!
Chicksクラスのサークルタイムでは食べ物について復習しました。子ども達はおもちゃの食べ物を使ってどの食べ物が好きか話してくれました。
The Cubs learned the letter “U” today in their writing books. They used their fingers to air draw the letters, and then completed it with their pencils.
Cubsクラスのライティングの時間では大文字のUを練習しました。まずは指を使って空中にUを書く練習、その後実際に鉛筆を持って紙に書く練習をしました。
The Sparrows and Owls make cute ladybugs today for craft. They cut the spots by themselves for scissor practice!
SparrowsクラスとOwlsクラスでは可愛いてんとう虫を製作しました。てんとう虫の黒い点を一所懸命にハサミを使って切っていました。
