4月4日から、早速2026年度のサタデースクールが始まりました！
Red and Blue
Red and Blue learned new vocabulary about things we can find at school! After practicing the words together several times, they played a fun game of karuta with partners. The children competed to see who could grab the most cards the fastest, showing great focus and quick reactions.
Red・Blueクラスでは、学校にあるものについて新しいボキャブラリーを学びました！数回、一緒に練習した後、パートナーと『かるた』を楽しみました。たくさんカードを取れるよう、みんな集中して競い合っていました。
Pink and Purple
The Pink and Purple classes came together to review vocabulary through a game called “Crash”! Cards were laid out in a line, and players started from opposite ends, naming each card as they moved forward. When they met in the middle, they played rock-paper-scissors to decide the winner. The losing player switched with their teammate, who restarted from the beginning. It was a fun and energetic way to practice!
Pink・Purpleクラスは、『Crash』というゲームを通してボキャブラリーの復習を行いました。一列に並んだカードの両端から真ん中に向かって、順番にカードを読み進むゲームです。お互いが出会ったところで「じゃんけん」をして勝者が決まります。負けた子はチームメイトと交代し、またゲームが始まります。座っているだけでなく、ゲームを取り入れ、エネルギーにあふれた復習時間となりました！
Preschool
After learning colors during Circle Time, the Preschool classes played “Color Demon,” a traditional Japanese game, in English! The children did a wonderful job listening carefully for color cues and running away from the demon—and they cheered with excitement every time they narrowly escaped!
幼稚園クラスでは、サークルタイムに『色』について学んだあと、『Color Demon（色鬼）』という馴染みのあるゲームを英語で行いました！子どもたちは、何色かよく聞いて鬼から逃げていました。ギリギリのところで逃げることができるととても盛り上がっていました！
The Preschool classes explored the alphabet using their own names. During writing time, they carefully placed masking tape over their names, and in craft, they stamped paint over the letters. We’re excited to see their finished creations once the paint dries!
また、幼稚園クラスでは、自分の名前を使ってアルファベットに着目しました。ライティングの時間には、名前をマスキングテープでカバーし、クラフトの時間にテープをした文字の上からペイントをしました。乾いてから、作品が完成するのが楽しみです！
Advanced Green
Advanced Green practiced building sentences using the prompt, “I like my…”. They brainstormed different ideas and used wooden blocks to count how many words were in each sentence. This hands-on approach helped them better understand sentence structure while having fun expressing their own ideas.
Advanced Greenクラスでは、『I like my・・・』から始まる文章を作っていきました。様々なアイデアを出しながら、何語で文章ができあがるのかブロックを使って数えました。このような実地的な活動を行うことで、自分の言葉で表現しながら、文章の構造を深く理解することに繋がります。
