The children spent most of the party day having fun and playing games! Chicks and Sparrows played a spooky version of musical passing, where they passed around creepy objects while the music played. When the music stopped, the children got to show off their best funky dance moves!
子どもたちはパーティーの大半を遊びやゲームで楽しみました！不気味なバージョンの「Music passing」をプレイし、音楽が流れる間にお化けのようなアイテムを回し合いました。音楽が止まったら、子どもたちは最高にファンキーなダンスを披露したのです！
We played a tag game called “Vampires, Hunters and Ghosts”. The children worked together in teams to catch their opponents!
「吸血鬼、狩人、幽霊」という鬼ごっこをしました。子どもたちはチームを組んで協力し、相手チームを捕まえようと奮闘しました！！
We played a questions game using Halloween vocabulary that we’ve learned. The children asked each other questions to figure out what object was hidden on their backs.
ハロウィンの単語を使ってクイズゲームをしました。子どもたちは互いに質問を投げかけ、背中に隠された物体が何かを当て合いました。
Afterwards, the Chicks and Sparrows played a pumpkin matching game! Although it was meant to be a competitive challenge, the children couldn’t help but cheer each other on, calling out “Over here!” whenever they spotted a match. It was wonderful to see their teamwork and kindness shine through!
カボチャのペア探しゲームをしました！競争を目的としたゲームでしたが、子どもたちは思わずお互いを応援し合い、ペアを見つけると「こっちだよ！」と声をかけ合っていました。彼らのチームワークと思いやりが輝いている様子は、本当に素晴らしい光景でした！
Advanced Orange Class played a fun game using ping pong balls and cups! The children split into teams and tried to bounce their balls on the table to land them in their opponents’ cups. The girls showed great skill and teamwork, leaving the boys a little puzzled about how to make a comeback!
オレンジクラスでは、ピンポン玉とコップを使った楽しいゲームを行いました！子どもたちはチームに分かれ、テーブルの上で玉を跳ねさせて相手のカップに入れることを目指しました。女の子たちは素晴らしい技術とチームワークを見せ、男の子たちはどう逆転すればいいのか少し困惑していました！
While waiting for their turn in the haunted house, the classes played a fun game called “Pumpkin Fell Down,” a Halloween twist on “Mr. Daruma Fell Down.” Since they’re the older children, those playing the role of “Pumpkin” were extra serious — watching carefully to catch anyone who moved!
お化け屋敷の順番待ちの間、クラスでは「かぼちゃが倒れた」という楽しいゲームを楽しみました。これは「だるまさんが倒れた」のハロウィン版です。年上の子どもたちのクラスで行ったため、「かぼちゃ」役の子たちは特に真剣に、誰かが動かないか注意深く見張っていました！
The children bravely entered our spooky haunted house to get treats from a monster!
子どもたちは勇敢にも不気味なお化け屋敷に踏み込み、モンスターからお菓子をもらいました！
This year, the Yamada school’s haunted house took place inside a big tent! Inside, the children made their way through thick fog and winding paths, pushing past spiderwebs as they searched for the exit. Many were surprised to discover a hidden monster waiting for them at the end!
今年、山田校のお化け屋敷は大きなテントの中で開催されました！中では、子どもたちが濃い霧と曲がりくねった道を進み、蜘蛛の巣をかき分けながら出口を探しました。最後に待ち構えていた隠れた怪物の姿に、多くの子どもたちが驚きました！
Interestingly, the older children preferred to go through the haunted house in groups, while the younger preschoolers bravely faced the maze on their own! Even though some were a little scared, most children remembered to thank the monster politely after receiving their candies.
興味深いことに、年上の子どもたちは幽霊屋敷に数人のグループで挑戦することを希望しましたが、年下の子どもたちは一人で勇敢に立ち向かいました！
少し怖がっている子もいたものの、ほとんどの子はキャンディをもらった後、モンスターに丁寧にお礼を言うことを忘れませんでした。
