In celebration of the winter season, the children made forts and had a snowball fight!

Advanced Yellow challenged themselves with last week’s “Cross the Bridge” game, but with mats! The children were given one mat each, and were asked to move across the gym with only those mats. The catch? They must always be touching the mats or the teacher would take them away!
Yelloｗクラスは先週の「橋を渡ろう」ゲームにマットを使って挑戦しました！子どもたちは一人一枚ずつマットを受け取り、そのマットだけで体育館を横断するよう求められました。ただし条件は？常にマットに触れている必要があり、触れていないと先生がマットを取り上げてしまうのです！
厳しいルールがあります！マットは小さいですが、分け合う心は大きいようです！
This week, Advanced Green continued their U.S. road-trip project — but with a new challenge! The teacher introduced a budget, and the children had to think carefully about what they could eat, which places they could visit, and where they might stay while keeping within their budget. It was a great chance for them to practice planning and making decisions.
今週、グリーンクラスは米国横断プロジェクトを継続しましたが、新たな課題が加わりました！先生は予算を提示し、子どもたちは予算内で何を食べられるか、どの場所を訪れられるか、どこに泊まれるかを慎重に考えなければなりませんでした。計画を立て決断を下す練習をする絶好の機会となりました。

Chicks and Sparrows had a blast pretending to fly an airplane in gym class! They lined up behind the “pilot” and zoomed around the gym, steering between cones and even spinning for a bit of “turbulence.”

Red and Blue practiced their phonics using word tiles this week! The teacher challenged them to spell simple words, and the children proudly put their sound knowledge to the test. Everyone worked hard and had fun building words together!

Owls visited the library today to listen to a story about traveling and learn about what they might see during their role-play later on. After the read-aloud, the children enjoyed exploring the shelves and choosing books that sparked their interest.
Owlsクラスは、今日図書館を訪れ、旅の物語を聞き、後に行うロールプレイで何を見られるか学びました。読み聞かせの後、子どもたちは本棚を探検し、興味を引かれた本を選ぶのを楽しんでいました。子ども達、旅に出たくなったのではないでしょうか？世界一周の旅はいかがですか？
It was time to board their airplanes! Owls lined up chairs to make their own plane and “flew around the world” with passports in hand. After landing, they stepped out of the classroom and pretended to explore landscapes from different countries — just like they had really traveled!
飛行機に乗る時間です！Owls たちは椅子を並べて自分たちだけの飛行機を作り、パスポートを手に「世界一周飛行」をしました。着陸後、教室を出て、まるで本当に旅をしたかのように、さまざまな国の風景を探検するふりをしました！これはちょっと揺れが激しい時間でしょうか？乗客の皆さん、シートベルトを今一度ご確認下さい！
To review all that they learned this unit, the Adv. Orange class composed sentences, giving others advice for having good health.
