Owls continued working on their pizza shop by making toppings! They were given foam sheets to cut and color, and they plan to keep working on their creations next time.

Today, Blue Class learned the phrase, “I have got a…” To practice, they played the card game Spot It. Each team was given a card, and if any picture on their card matched a picture on the card in the middle, they had to quickly shout the key phrase along with the picture name.
Blueクラスでは「I have got a…」というフレーズを学びました。練習としてカードゲーム「Spot It」を行いました。各チームにカードが配られ、自分のカードにある絵柄が中央のカードにある絵柄と一致した場合、素早くその絵柄の名前と共にキーフレーズを言うというゲームでした。
The elementary class continued planning for their restaurant menu items. Today, they were asked to draw and think about what kinds of craft materials they will need to make their food items. They discussed with their team members and wrote down a list to look in the craft room later.
小学校生のクラスは、先週に引き続き、レストランの開店準備計画を練っています。今日は、料理を作るために必要な材料の種類について考え、絵を描くよう求められました。チームメンバーと話し合い、リストを書き出しました。いくらの軍艦巻がメニューに載るようです！
Pink and Purple played a competitive “waiter” game today! They had to carefully serve teachers the food they requested while trying to stop the other team from knocking their plates to the floor. It was a lively activity that encouraged teamwork, balance, and quick thinking.

The Chicks and Sparrows read “The Hungry Caterpillar” for storytime! A few children knew the story already, and they were able to guess what foods the caterpillar would eat next even before the teacher turned the page!
ChicksクラスとSparrowsクラスは、読み聞かせの時間に『はらぺこあおむし』に親しみました。何人かの子はすでにこのお話を知っていて、先生がページをめくる前に、あおむしが次に何を食べるか当てることができました。素晴らしい記憶力！
Advanced Green brushed up on their comprehension skills with a reading activity. They read the questions first and underlined helpful hints in the text using whiteboard markers. Working with partners made the longer stories feel much less daunting and helped students support each other as they searched for answers.
Advanced Greenクラスは読解力を高めるための読書活動に取り組みました。まず質問を読み、ホワイトボードマーカーで本文中のヒントとなる部分を下線を引きながら確認しました。ペアワークにより長めの物語にも臆することなく、互いに助け合いながら答えを探しました。
