The Owls had fun pretending to be animals during their morning activity. They listened to the song Shoo Fly and jumped like kangaroos or wiggled like worms. It was a wonderful way to get the morning wiggles out and start the day with lots of movement and laughter!

During gym, Advanced Orange played a game where they had to build a snowman. The catch? They had to find the instructions first! Teams race to cones to peek underneath, looking to see if there were instructions. If the instructions didn’t match their team color, they had to run back and switch with their teammate!
体育の授業で、Advanced Orangeクラスは雪だるまを作るゲームをしました。ただし条件は？まず作り方を発見しなければなりません！各チームはコーンの下を覗き込むために競走し、そこに説明書があるかどうかを確認しました。もし説明書の色が自分のチームの色と違っていたら、走って戻り、チームメイトと交代しなければならなりませんでした！
Today was the day to turn ideas into reality! The children worked in groups and examined the materials they had available. Which items looked the most like the ones in their original drawings? Some students followed their plans closely, while others decided to abandon their original ideas and search the room for better materials. Advanced Orange ended up creating several successful elf traps!
今日は、先週考えたエルフを捕まえる罠のアイデアを現実にする日でした。子どもたちはグループに分かれ、手元にある材料を調べました。どのアイテムが元の絵に一番似ているでしょうか？計画通りに進める子もいれば、元のアイデアを捨てて教室でより良い材料を探す子もいました。Advanced Orangeクラスは、ついにいくつかの成功したエルフ捕獲装置を作り上げました。エルフ、逃げて！！
Snowball fight! Soft balls were spread across the gym floor, along with scattered blocks for obstacles. The Chicks and Sparrows went wild, throwing balls back and forth as if they were in a real snowball fight. They especially loved chasing the teachers with their “snowballs”!
雪合戦だ！柔らかいボールが体育館の床一面に散らばり、障害物としてブロックがあちこちに置かれました。ChicksとSparrowsクラスの子どもたちは大はしゃぎで、まるで本物の雪合戦のようにボールを投げ合っていました。特に雪玉を持った子どもたちに追いかけまわされた先生たちは、逃げるのに必死でした！
Advanced Green took on a bigger challenge by designing very complex traps. Many groups attempted technical mechanisms using rubber bands and string. In the end, some ideas proved a bit too advanced to build in real life, and students had to problem-solve when things didn’t work as expected. It was a great learning experience in trial and error!
Advanced Greenクラスは、エルフ捕獲のために、非常に複雑なトラップを設計するという大きな挑戦に取り組みました。多くのグループが輪ゴムや糸を使った技術的な仕掛け作りに挑みました。結局、いくつかのアイデアは現実的に構築するにはやや高度すぎることが判明し、生徒たちは予想通りに機能しない場合、問題解決を迫られました。試行錯誤による素晴らしい学びの経験となりました！
Simple is best! Red and Blue tested the mechanics of their traps before decorating and designing them. The children had so much fun that they eagerly demonstrated their traps again and again for their teachers, proudly showing how they worked.
