The Foxes and Jaguars spent their outdoor playtime enjoying an exciting game of Red Light, Green Light! The leaders were quick to spot any sneaky movements and would call out, “Go back to the start!” if anyone got caught.

The Wolves kicked off their session with some handwriting practice before jumping into their journals! They started by tracing words on the chalkboard with a wet sponge, then used tissue and chalk to reinforce how the letters should be formed, making the learning process both fun and hands-on!

The Foxes and Jaguars reviewed vocabulary from the YLE poster, “The Party,” before diving into a fun game of Pictionary! The competition heated up quickly as the teams shouted their guesses, with both teams finishing with nearly identical scores at the end!

The Cubs rang in the new year with a mini celebration! They kicked things off with a dance-off, bobbing their heads to some groovy tunes. After dancing up an appetite, they dug into some delicious sushi they made earlier during craft time!

As we learned about celebrations and traditions this month, our monthly poster was about a party. The children discussed what they could see and matched the word cards to the correct items on the poster.

The Advanced Orange class is reviewing the “hobbies” unit from their Fun Skills textbooks. They talked about their own hobbies and made a fun word search for their friends to try!
