Advanced Green participated in a trust game where they paired up and guided each other through obstacles that the class had set up beforehand. One partner was blindfolded while the other gave verbal instructions, such as “go up” or “go down,” to help them navigate the course. The children displayed great teamwork and communication, offering clear directions and working together to complete the challenge.
Advanced Greenクラスでは、ペアになって取り組む「トラストゲーム（信頼ゲーム）」を行いました。クラスで事前に用意した障害物コースを、一人は目隠しをしたまま、もう一人が「go up（上に登って）」「go down（下がって）」などの英語の指示を出しながら進みました。子どもたちは、相手のペースをよく見ながら声をかけ合い、協力してゴールを目指す姿がとても印象的でした。
Advanced Orange received their very first textbooks! The class began by learning about the characters introduced in the book. The teacher asked the children whether they shared any common interests or family members with the characters, sparking enthusiastic responses from many of the students, who were excited to connect their own experiences with those in the story.
Advanced Orangeクラスでは、初めてのテキストブックが配られました。レッスンでは、まず本に登場するキャラクターについて学習をスタート。先生が「このキャラクターと似てるところある？」「家族構成は似てるかな？」と質問すると、子どもたちは次々と手を挙げて自分との共通点を話してくれました。物語の中の世界と自分を重ねながら、興味をもって学ぶ姿が見られました。
During gym, the Advanced Yellow class played a game of “Exchange Tag.” The children stood on mats while one child, who was “IT,” stood in the center and called out a color or item of clothing. Those wearing the specified item had to quickly find a new spot without getting tagged by “IT.”
Advanced Yellowクラスのジムタイムでは、「エクスチェンジ・タグ（色おに）」をしました。子どもたちはマットの上に立ち、「鬼」が真ん中から「赤い服！」「帽子をかぶっている人！」と呼びかけると、該当する子が素早く場所を移動。鬼にタッチされないように逃げるゲームで、クラス全体が笑顔と元気であふれていました。
This year, all classes received login codes for the reading and phonics app, Teach Your Monster to Read. The Red and Blue Classes took the opportunity to log in for the first time and quickly became engrossed in its interactive features, such as collecting items and solving phonics puzzles. We look forward to revisiting the app periodically whenever we have time!
今年度はすべてのクラスで、読みとフォニックスの学習アプリ「Teach Your Monster to Read」のログインコードを配布しました。RedクラスとBlueクラスでは、さっそくログインして初めてのプレイを体験。アイテムを集めたり、フォニックスパズルを解いたりと、夢中になって取り組む姿が見られました。これからも時間があるときに、楽しく学べるツールとして活用していく予定です。
The Pink class learned about school life today and discussed the different objects we use for learning. Pinkクラスでは、今日「学校生活」について学びました。授業で使うさまざまな道具を紹介しながら、「これは何に使うの？」「どんな時に使うの？」といった会話を通して、身の回りの学びの道具に親しみを持つことができました。
The Cubs are working hard to form capital letters and enjoy using the Wet-Dry-Try app for practice. Cubsクラスでは、大文字の練習に一生懸命取り組んでいます。特に「Wet-Dry-Try」アプリがお気に入りで、正しい書き順を指でなぞりながら、楽しんで繰り返し練習しています。少しずつ、しっかりとした形が書けるようになってきています。

暖かい日が続き、春らしい陽気になってきました。そんな季節は、外で元気に遊ぶのにぴったりのタイミング。お日さまの下でたっぷり体を動かしながら、春を感じる活動を楽しんでいます。
