今日は木製パーツを使って「Mat Man」を作りました。体の部位の名前や大文字の形について、遊びながら楽しく学ぶことができました。
Before starting on their project, Advanced Yellow took a look at dictionaries to explore some words they may not have known before! They were especially fascinated by the names of different creatures, carefully reading each description to discover new and exciting vocabulary.
Advanced Yellowクラスでは、プロジェクトの前に辞書を使って新しい単語を調べる時間を取りました。特に生き物の名前に興味津々で、ひとつひとつの説明を丁寧に読みながら、新しい語彙を発見することを楽しんでいました。
During writing time, the Preschool Class split into stations based on skill levels. Some children practiced writing a new letter in their writing books or on chalkboards with help from a teacher, while others strengthened their phonics through the ‘Teach Your Monster’ app.
幼稚園クラスでは、ライティングの時間にスキルに応じたステーションに分かれて活動しました。新しい文字をワークブックやチョークボードに練習しているグループもあれば、「Teach Your Monster」アプリを使ってフォニックス力を高めている子も。先生のサポートを受けながら、それぞれのペースで集中して取り組んでいました。
As the class with the oldest children, Advanced Green took on the challenge of sewing on felt! This hands-on activity pushed their skills as they learned how to tie knots, thread needles, and carefully stitch their pieces. They were so focused and absorbed in their work, they nearly forgot it was time for outdoor play!
Advanced Greenクラスでは、最年長クラスならではのチャレンジとしてフェルトを使ったお裁縫に挑戦しました。糸通しや結び方を学びながら、一針一針ていねいに縫い進める子どもたち。集中しすぎて、外遊びの時間も忘れてしまうほど真剣に取り組んでいました。
