今日は６月に入って1回目のサタデースクールでした。
夏の厳しい暑さを思い出させるような気温となりましたね。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子を紹介いたします。
We are singing lots of songs for Father’s Day this month!
今月は父の日にちなんで、たくさんの歌を歌います！
歌に合わせて身体も動かすと自然に声も大きく出ます。
To learn about vehicles, we made a bus together and sang “The Wheels on the Bus”. It was so fun! 乗り物について学ぶために、みんなでバスを作り、「The Wheels on the Bus 」を歌いました。とても楽しかったです！
In gym time, we played a fun shopping game. The children had to follow their friend’s directions and deliver packages all around town!
ジムの時間には、楽しいお買い物ゲームをしました。お友達の指示を聞いて、街のお店に見立てた三角コーンのカゴに荷物を届けるゲームです！
We are making towns for our monthly project. The children made various buildings, such as bakeries, supermarkets and more! 毎月のプロジェクトで、町を作っています。パン屋さんやスーパーマーケットなど、様々な建物を作りました！
For today’s Wet-Dry-Try lesson, the children practiced capital “R”.
今日のWet-Dry-Tryのレッスンでは、大文字の 「R 」を練習しました。
For one of our circle time games, the teacher called out a color and the children found a vehicle that matched! They did a great job naming the item they found! サークルタイムのゲームでは、先生が色を言い、子どもたちはそれに合う乗り物を探しました！子どもたちは見つけたものに上手に名前をつけることができました！
The Advanced Green class is learning about school clubs in their textbooks. They talked about their own experiences with clubs at school. Advanced Greenのクラスは、テキストを使って学校のクラブについて学んでいます。学校でのクラブ活動について、自分たちの経験を話してくれました。
Outside play has been a great way for the children to take a break between lessons. They enjoy being active and playing together! 外遊びは、子ども達にとって、レッスンの合間の素晴らしい休憩方法です。子どもたちは活発に動き、一緒に遊ぶことを楽しんでいます！
The Chicks and Sparrows have been using workstations to practice their fine motor skills. One of today’s stations included following lines with buttons. Chicks と Sparrows は、ワークステーションを使い、手先を動かす練習をしています。今日のワークステーションのひとつは、ボタンを使って線をたどるというものでした。
Today the Owls used word puzzles to expand their vocabulary and practice letter recognition. 今日、Owlsクラスでは単語パズルを使って語彙を増やし、文字を認識する練習をしました。
