今日は今年最後のサタデースクールとなりました。
今年一年よい子にしていたみんなのもとにグローバルヴィレッジサタデースクールのサンタがやってきました！
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。
In Advanced Orange and Advanced Green Class, we practiced some special holiday vocabulary! It was fun seeing the children explain different words. Advanced OrangeとAdvanced Greenクラスでは、特別なホリデーシーズンの単語を練習しました！子どもたちが様々な単語を説明するのを見るのはとても楽しかったです。
For our craft the children decorated paper bags as gingerbread houses! We used colorful pompoms, sequins, and paper to decorate our candy houses! クラフトでは、紙袋をジンジャーブレッドハウスにデコレーションしました！カラフルなポンポンやスパンコール、紙を使ってお菓子の家を飾りました！
Some children opened the paper bag to make their houses 3-D! We saw a wonderful variety of different houses and styles! 紙袋を開けて、家を立体的にする子もいました！様々なスタイルのお菓子の家が出来上がりました！
Today was a magical day! Santa Claus came to visit us! Each of the children received a special present from Santa. What a special day!
今日は魔法の日でした！サンタクロースが来てくれました！子どもたちはサンタさんから特別なプレゼントをもらいました。特別な一日でした！
During craft time, the children traced their hands onto brown paper and carefully cut them out. It was a great way to practice our scissors skills. I wonder what we will make with them? クラフトの時間では、子どもたちは茶色の紙に手をなぞり、丁寧に切り取ります。ハサミの練習にもなりました。何を作ろうかな？
In Orange Green Purple Class we played a spelling quiz game using the TV. The children did great decoding the words.
Orange Green Purpleクラスでは、テレビを使ってスペリングクイズゲームをしました。子どもたちは上手に単語を解読していました。
We played a Pictionary game! The children had fun seeing who could be the fastest to finish each drawing. お絵かきゲームをしました！誰が一番早く完成させることができるかを楽しみました。
In the Advanced Yellow and Advanced Purple class, we had an extra big challenge- a Christmas word search with 98 words! We first took a look at the words we wanted to find. The children had a blast seeing who could find the most words. Advanced YellowとAdvanced Purpleのクラスでは、98の単語からなるクリスマスの単語探しに挑戦しました！まず、探したい単語を選びました。子どもたちは、誰が一番多くの単語を見つけることができるかを楽しみました。
In gym class, we had sleigh races! Each team tried to be the fastest to pull their Santa to the goal. ジムのクラスでは、そりレースをしました！各チーム、サンタをゴールまで引っ張る速さを競いました。
Musical Chairs; Christmas edition! We moved around the chairs to the Christmas music, and when it stopped, we talked about the Christmas items we found! イス取りゲーム、クリスマスバージョン！クリスマスの音楽に合わせて椅子を移動し、音楽が止まったら、見つけたクリスマスグッズについて話しました！
