冷たい北風に負けず、毎日元気に外に飛び出す子どもたち。
今日は日差しが暖かく、ランチ後の外遊びでは上着が要らないほどでした。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。
In the Cubs class we practiced our adjectives by playing a short slap game! We placed our hands on our heads and then tried to hit the card that matched what our teacher said. Cubs クラスでは、形容詞の単語のカードを使ってかるた大会をしました。頭の上に手を置いて、お題と同じカードをタッチします！
Today during our reading time we did a kamishibai show! The children really enjoyed listening to the teacher read as well as being able to use the theatre set up! 今日は読み聞かせの時間に紙芝居をしました！子どもたちは本格的な紙芝居の台を使っての読み聞かせをとても楽しんでいました。
In the Foxes class to practice our decoding skills we read a story about “Jellybean” a horse. The children did a great job at pointing out their sight words. Wolvesクラスでは、解読の練習をするために、”Jellybean “という馬のお話を読みました。子どもたちはサイトワードを指差しながら、とても上手に読んでいました。
Today in Advanced Purple and Advanced Yellow class as a reward for finishing out textbook work the children played a hidden picture game and also looked for words in a Minecraft themed word search. It was fun to ask the children to explain different game terms to the teacher!
今日のAdvanced PurpleとAdvanced Yellowクラスでは、テキストを使ったレッスンを終えたご褒美に、子どもたちは隠し絵ゲームをしたり、マインクラフトをテーマにしたワードサーチで単語を探したりしました。子どもたちにゲームの用語を先生に説明してもらうのも楽しかったようです！
In continuing with our theme about food- the Foxes class practiced writing their own recipes. We used our vocabulary words and thought about how to write our recipes such as the ingredients list and the instructions part.
Foxesのクラスでは、引き続き食べ物についてのテーマで、自分のレシピを書く練習をしました。語彙を使い、材料リストや作り方など、レシピの書き方を考えました。
As the holidays come near we need some cute holiday crafts to spread the cheer! We made these adorable Santa bells to play with today! The children enjoyed using them to create music!
もうすぐクリスマスです！今日は可愛らしいサンタの鈴を作って遊びました！子どもたちはサンタの鈴を鳴らして楽しみました！
To practice writing we wrote a Christmas wish in our journals today! We asked the children to write about what they wanted but also what their friends wanted too! It was really fun to listen to all of the items the children hoped for!
今日は、書く練習として、クリスマスの願い事を日記に書きました！自分の欲しいものだけでなく、お友達の欲しいものも書いてもらいました！子どもたちの願い事を聞くのはとても楽しいものでした！
Nothing like spending some time in the sandbox and making the BIGGEST mountain we can! The Chicks and Sparrows did just that, and by working together we were able to make a sizable volcano! Great teamwork everyone!
砂場で時間をかけて、思い切り大きな山を作ることほど楽しいことはありません！ChicksとSparrowsクラスの子どもたちはまさにそうして、力を合わせて大きな火山を作るりあげました！みんな素晴らしいチームワークでした！
Today the children took some turns miming out words! It was a really fun game where we even made the teacher guess what words we had!
動詞の単語のカードを使ってジェスチャーゲームをしました。単語を口に出さず、体で表現し、クラスメイトや先生が答えを当てます。
In Wolves class we reviewed vocabulary that has to do with technology! The children were really interested to practice these words!
Wolvesクラスでは、テクノロジーに関係する単語を復習しました！子どもたちはとても興味を持って単語を練習していました！
