寒い日が続いていますが、子どもたちの元気な声が室内を暖かくしてくれます。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。
At the end of our ESL lesson, we played a spelling game using the words we learned earlier.
The first word was pretty tricky, but one student got it just before Anpanman was completely erased!
ESLレッスンの最後に、今日習った単語を使ってスペルゲームをしました。
最初の単語が難しかったのですが、アンパンマンが完全に消される寸前で、一人のお友達が正解し、無事アンパンは救われました！
During textbook time we focused on the topic of “Going Out.”
We used days of the week and keywords to make sentences about things we do outside the house.
教科書の時間では、”Going Out “というトピックに焦点を当てました。
曜日やキーワードを使って、家の外ですることについて文章を作りました。
We reviewed different animals in ESL and then played a mystery game. It was fun trying to figure out what animal was hiding in the Mystery Box!
ESLで動物の復習をした後、ミステリーゲームをしました。Mystery Boxにどんな動物が隠れているのか、探すのに大盛り上がりでした。
In the library we listened to the teacher read a book that focused on the phonics sound “str.”
This gave us a fun opportunity to hear this sound in various words.
図書室では、先生がフォニックスの “str. “に焦点を当てた本を読み聞かせしました。
様々な単語でこの音を聞くことができました。
Today we focused on sports and instruments.
After reviewing them, we tried to find out what everyone in the class can and cannot do.
今日は、スポーツと楽器に焦点を当てました。
スポーツと楽器の復習をした後、クラスのみんなができること、できないことを探しました。
In Gym we played balloon volleyball. Trying to hit the balloon hard enough to get it over the barrier was a challenge!
Gymの時間には、風船バレーをしました。風船に強く当てて、壁を越えるのが大変でした。
Today we practiced reading our names and the names of our friends!
自分の名前とお友達の名前を読む練習をしました。
Today in craft we excavated bones. This also had a guessing component, where we had to estimate how many bones would be inside.
It was exciting to watch the bones get revealed!
今日の工作では、骨の発掘をしました。いくつの骨が連なって一つの部位ができているのか、予想する作業もしました。
骨が出てくるのを見るのはとても楽しいです。
Today we tested our alphabet skills in ESL.
We reviewed all the letters and then mixed up the cards so that we had to put all of them back in order from A-Z.
ESLのレッスンの最後に、フラッシュカードを片付けながら、AからZの順番に戻していきました。
お片付けもゲームにすると楽しいね♪
In ESL we talked about different things we can do during the wintertime.
Then we played a game where each team had to come up with sentences based on the the activity the opposite team chose for them.
ESLでは、冬の間にできるさまざまなアクティビティについて話しました。
そして、チーム対抗のゲームをしました。相手チームにアクティビティに基づいて文章を考え、質問しながら、バランスボールを転がして渡します。
相手チームは質問に答え、さらに別のアクティビティに基づいて文章を考え、質問します。
タイマーが鳴った時点でバランスボールを持っていたチームの負けというものでした。
