暦の上では立春を迎えていますが、
もう少し寒い日が続きそうですね。
今日は２月３日「節分の日」ですね。
恵方巻を楽しみにしている子どもたちも多いのではないでしょうか。
サタデースクールでも節分にちなんで
「鬼のパンツ」の英語バージョン「Deamon’s Pants」を歌っています。
とてもキャッチーな曲調なので、
子どもたちも「Put them on, Put them on Deamon’s pants♪」と
口ずさんでしまうほど☆

Having time dedicated to reading books is a great way to practice reading and recognizing English words and sentences. We love to have a bit of a quiet and relaxing time while enjoying a good book. Here you can see we picked a book about Halloween.
本を読む時間は、英単語や英文を読む練習になります。本を読みながら、静かでリラックスした時間を過ごすのが大好きです。ここでは、ハロウィーンについての本を選びました。
Learning new vocabulary with Squawker the Parrot is always an exciting part of lesson time. Everyone loves seeing what silly things Squawker will do as he teaches us new words. Today’s vocabulary was “elbow” and “arm”.
オウムのSquawkerと一緒に新しい単語を学ぶのは、レッスンの時間の中でもいつもわくわくするものです。新しい単語を教わりながら、Squawkerがどんなおバカなことをするのか、みんな楽しみにしています。今日のボキャブラリーは、”肘 “と “腕 “でした。
Today we practiced our xylophones and the big drum. Music time with Kaori is always really great! We love music class!

The games on the iPads are so fun! They are also very educational. Here we are using our Cambridge accounts to play games that go along with what we are studying in our textbooks.

Circle Time is when we can play really fun competitive games. Today we learned about different foods and our preferences for them. Here we are playing a team game to go along with todays theme. サークルタイムは、とても楽しい対戦ゲームをする時間です。今日は、いろいろな食べ物とその好みについて学びました。ここでは、今日のテーマに沿ったチーム対抗ゲームをしています。
Yummy food! To learn about food, we practiced this week’s vocabulary and talked about what we like to eat.
今週のボキャブラリーのテーマは「食べ物（Food）」！単語の練習をするために、子どもたちは好きな食べ物について話しあいました。
The Movers classes learned about containers and what foods we can put in each type. We drew some examples and gave our partners some instructions to follow!
子どもたちは思い思いの容器と食べ物を紙に書き、パートナーにどの食べ物をどの容器に入れいるのがよいか、指示を出しあうというゲームをしました！
