今年度最後のサタデースクールとなりました。
朝晩はまだ冷え込みますが、お昼間はぽかぽかと暖かくなってきましたね。
どんよりしたお天気にも負けず、子ども達の楽しそうな声が園内を明るくしてくれています。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介します。
During our textbook time we played a review game. The children were excited to block each other from winning by stealing their sentences.
教科書の時間には、復習ゲームをしました。子どもたちは、相手の文章を盗み見ることで、お互いの勝利を阻止しようと盛り上がっていました。
In writing we started practicing numbers. We used what we learned writing the alphabet to help us make the correct shapes.
ライティングでは、数字の練習を始めました。アルファベットの書き方で学んだことを使って、バランスよく数字を書けるように練習しました。
Today we learned different descriptives and we used our bodies to demonstrate the words we learned.
今日は様々な形容詞を学び、学んだ単語を体を使って表現しました。
We got quite the workout during gym today. Survival tag had us running all over the place and was so much fun!
今日のジムの時間は、かなりの運動量になりました。サバイバル・タグでは、あちこちを走り回り、とても楽しかったです！
Tech time is always a great opportunity to practice our technological skills while reviewing English with different games. The spelling and science apps seem to be the most popular!
テクノロジーの時間は、様々なゲームで英語の復習をしながら、技術的なスキルを磨く良い機会です。スペルや科学のアプリが一番人気のようです！
For our craft we made paper crepes. We used all sorts of materials to customize our crepes and make them our own.
クラフトでは、紙で作ったクレープを作りました。いろいろな材料を使って、自分だけのクレープを作りました。
The library offers a lot of different stories the children can chose from. Anywhere from alien adventures to animal puppet books.
図書室には、子どもたちが選ぶことのできるさまざまな物語があります。宇宙人の冒険から動物の人形の本まで種類はとても豊富です。
Review units offer a great chance for the children to look back on the past two units and practice everything they’ve learned. The vocabulary activities are pretty popular with everyone.
復習ユニットは、子どもたちが過去2ユニットを振り返り、学んだことをすべて実践する絶好の機会です。ボキャブラリーアクティビティはみんなに大人気です。
Today during our word time we focused on the words dress up and build and how they link to playtime.
今日の単語タイムでは、dress upとbuildという単語に注目し、それらがどのようにプレイタイムと結びついているのかを学びました。
In our ESL lesson we reviewed food words and then interviewed each other about what we like and don’t like.
ESLのレッスンでは、食べ物の単語を復習し、好きなもの、嫌いなものをお互いにインタビューしました。
