空を見上げると入道雲が広がり、夏をより一層感じさせてくれますね☆
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介します。
In the Yamada Library we set up a planetarium. Today the children enjoyed a view under the stars. We took a look at many constellations.
山田校の図書室にプラネタリウムがやってきました！子どもたちは天井や壁に移るたくさんの星座を観察し楽しみました。
Today during Circle Time in the Yellow and Purple Class the children brought some more show-and-tell items. We took a look at some Pokemon Cards and learned how to play the game in English.
YellowとPurpleクラスのサークルタイムでは、子どもたちは“Show and Tell”（ものを紹介するアクテビティ）をすべく、お家から様々なモノを持ってきてくれました。今日はポケモンカードを紹介してくれたお友達がいたので、そのポケモンカードを英語でのどう遊ぶのかを学びました。
The Wolves class learned how to blend using their Fred Fingers today. We practiced with some words from out reading books. Great work!
Wolvesクラスでは、Fred Fingersを使って音をブレンドのする方法を学びました。短い文章や単語を使って練習しました。よくできました！
The Cubs class practiced their body part names by making a monster on the whiteboard. The children enjoyed making funny monsters.
Cubsクラスはホワイトボードにモンスターを作り、体の部位の名前を練習しました。先生の指示を聞いて体の部位を書いていきます。子どもたちはへんてこなモンスター作りを楽しんでいました。
We are still continuing with pool play and the children are having a blast staying cool in the water.
今週も先週に引き続き、お天気に恵まれてプール遊びをしました☆
We kept the beat going playing taiko during music class!
音楽の時間には和太鼓を演奏し、ビートを刻みました！
During Reading time, we took a look at a whole bunch of different books. For example, the story of Kaguya-Hime.
読書の時間には、いろいろな本を読みました。例えば、かぐや姫の物語。
We played “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes” by gesturing to our friend’s bodies! The children couldn’t control their laughter.
お友達と向かい合わせになって、相手にジェスチャーで示しながら、”Head Shoulders Knees and Toes “の歌を歌って遊びました。笑いをこらえきれない子ども達でした！
Today the Wolves practiced some verbs and adding -ing at the end. After we practiced, we played Snakes and Ladders against each other.
今日は動詞をテーマに、動詞の最後に-ingをつける練習をしました。練習の後は、「Snakes and Ladders（ヘビとはしご）」で対戦です！
We practiced talking about routines and the days of the week in the Advanced Green and Advanced Orange classes. The Children then played bingo checking off the days of the weeks they did certain activities.
Advanced GreenとAdvanced Orangeのクラスでは、日課や曜日について話した後、ビンゴゲームをしました。ビンゴのマスに曜日を書き、何曜日に何をしたかを話し合いながらビンゴを完成させました！
