8月に入り、先月にもましてジリジリと暑い日差しが照りつけています。
そんな暑さにも負けず、子ども達はプール遊びを満喫しています。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介します。
Today the Chicks and Sparrows class reviewed the alphabet. We played a fun game where we had to find a letter piece and place it back into the puzzle!
Chicks とSparrowsクラスではアルファベットの復習をしました。パズルになっている文字のピースを見つけて元のパズルの位置に戻すというゲームです！
The Wolves class did a lesson on values today. They were presented with different scenarios and had to choose a response using their English. Great work!
Wolvesクラスでは価値観のレッスンを行いました。テキストに載っている様々シナリオを読み、答えを選んでいきました。
The Advanced Yellow and Advanced Purple class took a dive into Natural Disasters today! We introduced some vocabulary relating to various Natural Disasters and even shared a couple facts and went over what we do during some of them!
Advanced YellowとAdvanced Purpleのクラスでは、自然災害について学びました！様々な自然災害に関する語彙を学びました。自然災害とはどのようなモノか、起きた場合にはどのような行動をすべきかについて話し合いました。
The children received their practice YLE tests back today and we went over the results with them. It was a great time to learn some new strategies and sharpen up our skills for the real deal in November.
子どもたちはYLEの模擬テストの結果を受け取り、問題の復習をしました。新しいストラテジーを学び、11月の本番に向けてスキルを磨く良い機会となりました。
The Wolves class reviewed some places as well as some of the activities we can do there. Then we played a fun game where we had to find partners with matching places and activities!
Wolves クラスでは、場所とその場所でできるアクティビティについて復習しました。そして、場所とアクティビティが一致するパートナーを探すという楽しいゲームをしました！
It was another day of staying cool in the shade and water! While we are sad that pool play will be ending soon the children had a blast splashing around today.
この日も日陰や水辺で涼しく過ごしました！プール遊びがもうすぐ終わってしまうのは残念ですが、子どもたちは今日も水しぶきをあげて楽しみました。
The Red and Blue classes today enjoyed putting together body parts and descriptive words to make funny pictures on the whiteboard.
今日のRedとBlueクラスでは、ホワイトボードに体の部分と形容詞を組み合わせて面白い絵を作ることを楽しみました。
During reading and tech time the children enjoyed looking at different books in the library. A special kind of book the children enjoy are the look and find books- where the children try to find characters and items hidden in complex pictures!
読書とテクのロジーの時間には、子どもたちは図書室で様々な本を見て楽しみました。複雑な絵の中に隠されているキャラクターやアイテムを探し出す本です！
During Tech Time the children play all sorts of mini games on the ipad. In this one, the children need move a mouse to catch water drops with the letters to make a word from their spelling list. Meanwhile, a cat throws items that can cause damage to the mouse!
テクノロジーの時間では、子どもたちはipadでいろいろなミニゲームをします。このゲームでは、子どもたちはネズミを動かして水滴を文字でキャッチし、スペルリストにある単語を作ります。一方、猫はネズミにダメージを与えるアイテムを投げてきます！
Splitting things into categories is always a great brain teaser for the children. In this one the children needed to identify pet animals and animals that are unusual pets. Some of the answers were really funny! Does anyone want a pet piranha?
物事をカテゴリーに分けることは、子どもたちにとって、いつも素晴らしい頭の体操になりますね！子どもたちは様々な動物をペットかそうでないかの2つのカテゴリーに分けました。中には本当に面白い答えもあったようです。ピラニアのペットを飼いたい人はいますか？
