それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。
For Project time, the Jaguars and Foxes made a big zoo, by separating areas into different terrains. They later brainstormed and placed animal toys into each of these sections. Project Timeのレッスンでは、JaguarsとFoxesはエリアを地形ごとに区切って大きな動物園を作りました。その後、ブレインストーミングを行い、それぞれのセクションに動物のおもちゃを配置しました。
The Wolves have been learning about expressing their likes and dislikes in their course book time. They practiced the language by picking out flash cards and making various sentences. Wolvesは、絵本の時間に自分の好き嫌いを表現することを学んだ。フラッシュカードを選び、様々な文章を作ることで、表現方法を練習した。
The Foxes and Jaguars played rounds of “Animal Tag”! The children were having so much fun chasing and avoiding getting caught that they sometimes forgot to act as their roles as animals! They really loved this game and immediately went back to play after each tea break. FoxesとJaguarsは「動物鬼ごっこ」をしました！子どもたちは鬼ごっこをとても楽しんでいました！子どもたちは、捕まらないように追いかけるのが楽しくて、動物としての役割を忘れてしまうこともありました！子どもたちはこのゲームがとても気に入ったようで、お茶を飲んだ後、すぐにまた遊び始めました。
Pink and Purple Classes used their “Who am I” cards from last week to play guessing games! They split up into teams to see who could answer the cards on their heads the fastest. PinkとPurpleのクラスでは、先週作った 「Who am I 」のカードを使って、当てっこゲームをしました！チームに分かれて、頭の上にあるカードに誰が一番早く答えられるかを競いました。
The Advanced Green Class got a special visit from the Owls! The Owls watched commercials on the ipads, introducing each of the zoos the Advanced Green Classes made. The children giggled when they saw their friends on the ipad screen, and complimented each other on their great acting! Advanced Green クラスはフクロウの特別訪問を受けました！フクロウたちは、Advanced Green の子ども達が作ったそれぞれの動物園を紹介するコマーシャルをipadで見ました。子どもたちはipadの画面に映し出された友だちを見るとくすくす笑い、お互いの演技を褒め合いました！
Advanced Orange worked on their writing by brainstorming about their favorite animals and why they like them. Every time they needed help with their spelling, they called over teachers to ask, “How do you spell…?” and the teachers wrote them on the board. For the fast finishers, they were given time to draw their favorite animals too! Advanced Orangeは、好きな動物やその理由についてブレインストーミングをし、文章を書く練習をしました。スペルの練習が必要な時は、先生を呼んで 「How do you spell? 」と尋ね、先生がボードに書いてくれました。早く終わった生徒には、好きな動物の絵を描く時間も与えられた！
The Chicks and Sparrows designed their own zoos on butcher paper! They carefully placed each of the animals in different cages. Afterwards they used their headbands and binocular crafts from last week to become their favourite zoo animals or visitors of their zoos! ChicksとSparrowsは、ブッチャーペーパーに自分たちの動物園をデザインしました！動物たちは、それぞれ丁寧に動物園の中に配置されました！ぞれの動物を丁寧に檻に入れました。その後、先週作ったキリンヘッドバンドや双眼鏡を使って、お気に入りの動物や動物園の来園者に変身しました！
After Lunch, the Blue Class went outside to get some exercise! The children love playing soccer, riding their tricycles, and especially playing tag, which they are often seen enjoying. The teachers love to join in on their fun, and afterwards they returned to their classroom all energized for their next lesson! ランチの後、Blue クラスは外で体を動かしました！サッカーをしたり、三輪車に乗ったり、特に鬼ごっこが大好きな子どもたち。特に鬼ごっこは、子どもたちの大好きな遊びで、先生たちも一緒になって楽しんでいます！
For music class, the Chicks and Sparrows sang monthly songs such as “Goodby Summer, Goodbye Fall,” “Fall Colors,” and singing songs about the months of the year. At the end of the lesson, they also got to practice their favorite songs with handbells! ミュージック クラスのために、Chicks と Sparrows は 「Goodbye Summer, Goodbye Fall」、「Fall Colors 」などの月ごとの歌を歌い、1年の月についての歌を歌いました。レッスンの最後には、ハンドベルを使って好きな曲を練習しました！
