In the Green class, the children have been working on describing pictures to each other, and what better way to do this than a Spot the Difference? Two children who have slightly different versions of the same picture talk to each other about what is in their picture and they try to find the differences without showing each other the picture.

こちらの写真では、生徒達が絵の内容についてお互いに説明するアクティビティに取り組んでいるところです。これにぴったりなのが、「間違い探し」ゲーム！少しずつ異なる部分のある2枚の絵を持った生徒達が、絵を見せ合わずに、その絵の中に何が描かれているかを話しながら違いを見つけていきます。
Our May theme in the Green class was Technology! The children learned how to talk about different kinds of technology in English and the difference between software and hardware. They also designed their own apps and voted for the app they would most like to use.
Greenクラスの5月のテーマは「テクノロジー」でした！
生徒達は、英語で様々な種類のテクノロジーについて学び、ソフトウェアとハードウェアの違いについても知識を深めました。また、自分オリジナルのアプリをデザインし、その中で「一番使ってみたいアプリ」に人気投票も行いました。
The children have been using the grammar they are studying in an activity called Telestrations. They write a sentence on a piece of paper and pass it to the next person, who draws a picture to describe that sentence. Then they fold the paper to hide the original sentence, and the next person has to write a sentence to describe the picture they see. It can be funny to see how much a sentence can change as it is passed around the classroom!
こちらは、生徒達が現在学んでいる文法を使って、「テレストレーションズ」というアクティビティに取り組んでいる様子です。まず紙に文章を書き、それを次の人に渡します。次の人は、その文章に合った絵を描きます。その後、元の文章が見えないように紙を折りたたみ、さらにその絵を見た次の人が、それを説明する文章を書きます。
教室内をその紙が回っている間に、文章の内容や意味がどんな風に変わっていくかを最後に発表し、とても盛り上がった活動となりました。
