To celebrate Tanabata, the children wrote their wishes on colorful tanzaku strips. Blue Class had some especially fun and modern wishes—many of them hoping for new games, including the much-anticipated Switch 2! 七夕をお祝いして、子どもたちはカラフルな短冊に願いごとを書きました。
Blueクラスでは、特に楽しくて現代的な願いごとがたくさん登場しました！中でも人気だったのは新しいゲームのリクエストで、「Switch 2がほしい！」という声もたくさん聞こえました！
Advanced Orange had a wide variety of wishes for Tanabata! Many children dreamed of what they’d like to become in the future—hoping to be doctors, sushi chefs, or even YouTubers! Advanced Orangeクラスの短冊にも七夕に向けてさまざまな願いごとが書かれていました。将来の夢について考えた子が多く、「お医者さんになりたい」「すし職人になりたい」「YouTuberになりたい！」といった夢いっぱいの短冊が並びました。
Before gym class began, Red Class noticed the two figures on the banner and asked, “Who are they?” The teacher shared the story of Hikoboshi and Orihime, explaining how the Tanabata festival came to be. The children listened with curiosity, asking thoughtful questions as the tale unfolded. Gymクラスが始まる前、Redクラスの子どもたちは飾られていたタペストリーの2人の人物を見て「この人たち誰？」と質問しました。先生は、彦星と織姫のお話を紹介し、七夕がどのようにして始まったかを説明しました。子どもたちは興味津々で話を聞き、たくさんの質問をしてくれました。
Between class periods, Advanced Green took a moment to relax and enjoy a chapter of “The Sheep-Pig” by Dick King-Smith—a story about a pig who learns to herd sheep with the help of his animal friends. Reading this chapter book has become a daily tradition, and the class always looks forward to this quiet, cozy time together. Advanced Greenクラスでは、授業の合間にリラックスタイムとして「The Sheep-Pig（羊飼いブタ）」の読み聞かせを楽しんでいます。これは、動物の仲間たちに助けられながら羊を追う方法を学ぶ子ブタのお話です。このチャプターブックを読む時間は、毎日の楽しみのひとつとなっていて、教室全体が穏やかであたたかい空気に包まれます。
Preschool has started preparing for their big end-of-month project: the Beach Shop! To get ready, the children practiced using language they might need on the day. They opened two pretend shops—a pet shop and a grocery store—and had fun shopping for any item they liked! 幼稚園クラスでは、月末の大きなプロジェクト「Beach Shop（ビーチショップ）」に向けた準備が始まりました！本番に必要な言葉の練習として、教室に2つの仮想ショップ（ペットショップと食料品店）をオープンし、好きなものを買うごっこ遊びを楽しみました。
Our fishing game was really fun! We attached hole hoops to a jump rope and tried to catch as many fish as we could! 釣りゲームもとても楽しかったです！フラフープを縄跳びに取りつけて、できるだけ多くの魚を釣ろうとチャレンジしました！
The Cubs made a cute fish craft and learned the names of its body parts in English. Their favourite part was choosing colourful feathers for the fish’s fins! Cubsはかわいい魚のクラフトを作りながら、その体のパーツの名前を英語で学びました。いちばん盛り上がったのは、カラフルな羽をヒレとして選ぶ場面でした！
We played Pirates of the Caribbean in gym time! The children were so competitive and tried to steal each other’s treasure. Gymの時間には「Pirates of the Caribbean（カリブの海賊）」ごっこをしました！子どもたちはとても競争心旺盛で、お互いの宝物を盗み合うのに夢中になっていました！
