The Monkeys learned all about insects! They learned about their body parts, how many legs they have, and which ones can fly or sting. The children enjoyed hands-on activities such as a bug hunt in the colourful kinetic sand, examining insect toys with magnifying glasses, and observing real insects preserved in resin blocks like butterflies, centipedes, beetles and more. It was a fun and fascinating way to discover the tiny creatures that live all around us!
9月のMonkeysクラスの子ども達は、月間テーマ（Insects and Creepy Crawlies）にちなんで、「虫」について多くのことを学びました！
子ども達は、虫の体の部位や足の数、飛ぶ虫や刺す虫などについて興味津々で聞いていました。カラフルなキネティックサンドの中に隠された虫のおもちゃを探したり、昆虫の標本を虫めがねを使って観察したり、樹脂の中に保存された本物のチョウやムカデ、カブトムシなどをじっくり見て関心したりと、様々な活動を楽しみました。身の回りにいる小さな生き物に触れ、とてもワクワクする時間になりました！
The Monkeys had a wonderful time learning about shapes by working with the Lions to count and create different shapes using wooden pieces! Each child worked hard to put the wooden pieces together to make a variety of shapes. Visiting the Lions, running around and working as a team made the day extra special and full of fun!
ある日のレッスンでは、年長のLionsクラス のお兄さん・お姉さんと一緒に「形」について学びました。
木製のピースを使って形を数えたり作ったりしながら、それぞれが工夫してピースを組み合わせ、様々な図形を完成させました。
Lionsクラス の教室を訪問し、チームで協力して活動する特別で楽しい時間となりました。
The Monkeys celebrated the change of season by creating their own adorable chestnuts! They used plenty of red and yellow to show the warm colors of autumn and added eyes, a nose, and a mouth to make their unique chestnut faces. It’s wonderful to see how confident and excited the children have become in expressing their creativity and how much they enjoy getting a little messy while they make their masterpieces!
10月のテーマは「Autumn and Halloween」。季節の移り変わりが感じられる、とても可愛らしい「栗」のクラフトを作りました！
赤や黄色の絵の具をたっぷり使って、秋を感じさせる暖かい色を表現し、目や鼻・口をつけて個性あふれる栗の顔を完成させました。
Monkeysの子ども達が、製作活動を楽しみながら、少しずつ自信を持って表現する姿にとても嬉しく思います。創造的で楽しい活動を通して、これからも子ども達が成長していく様子がますます楽しみです！
