The students in the After School Blue class have been growing in confidence with both the curriculum and our classroom activities, especially after completing the YLE exam. Their hard work is truly paying off!
11月中旬に初めてのケンブリッジ国際児童英検（YLEテスト）を終えたBlueクラスの生徒達は、コースブックを使ったレッスンと教室でのアクティビティ共にさらに自信を持って取り組んでいます。みんなの努力やこれまでの積み重ねが実を結びつつあります！
One of our favorite games recently has been deciding whether a sentence is negative or affirmative. Students show their answer by running across the room to either the tick or cross sign on the wall. The Blue class enjoyed this activity so much that we ended up playing it several times!
最近の生徒達のお気に入りのアクティビティは、文章が否定形か肯定形かを当てるゲームです。
答えに応じて、壁に貼った「チェックマーク」か「×マーク」まで教室を走って横切るルールで、いつも大変盛り上がります。この日も何度も繰り返してチャレンジし、楽しく遊びながら学ぶことができました。
In our course book, we learned a new song that teaches how to use the past tense while cooking. After memorizing the lyrics, the Blue class even put on a small performance to show off what they had learned. They sang with great energy and enthusiasm!
コースブックを使ったレッスンでは、料理をしながら「過去形」の使い方を学ぶ歌を紹介しました。
歌詞を覚えた後、Blueクラスの生徒達は学んだ内容を披露する小さな発表会を行いました。生徒達は素晴らしいエネルギーと熱意を発揮しながら、みんな大きな声で楽しく歌いました！
Each lesson, we also make time to practice spelling. The students have become much quicker and more confident when writing and spelling new words. Their improvement has been wonderful to see.

毎回のレッスンでは、スペリング（綴り）を練習する時間を設けています。
今では新しい単語を書く時やスペルを覚える時、以前よりもずっと速く、そして自信を持って取り組むことができるようになりました。生徒達一人ひとりの進歩や成長ぶりは目覚ましく、いつも驚かされます。
