We have been comparing different things using superlatives and comparatives. The children have to compare the animals and then ask a question to their friend. We used the “Typhoon game” to compete with each other and see who could compare the most animals.
アフタースクール・Orangeクラスのレッスンの様子をご紹介いたします。
最近のOrangeクラスのレッスンでは、最上級と比較級の表現を使って、様々な物事を比較する方法を紹介しました。動物を比較してクラスメイトとお互いに質問をしたり、「Typhoon Game（台風ゲーム）」というアクティビティではお互いに競い合って、誰が最も多くの動物を比較できたかを決め、色々な表現方法を楽しく学びました。
We also have been working on our spelling, every lesson we will do a spelling activity and a dictionary of the words. The children are racing to write the words as many times correctly as they can. They roll the dice and write the correct word for that number. The aim is to cross the finish line and score a goal.
スペリングの練習にも引き続き取り組んでおり、レッスンでは毎回スペリングの練習と単語の辞書を作成しています。こちらの写真は、生徒達ができるだけ多くの単語を正しく書く競争を行っているところです。サイコロを振って、出た目の数字の数の単語を正しく書いていきます。目標はフィニッシュラインを越えてゴールに到達することです。
This last unit we have been focusing on a healthy lifestyle. We have learnt about types of food, a balanced diet and exercise. The children had to write about their own yoga pose. Once they did that they then presented their pose, while asking the other children to follow their instructions. The aim was to see if the children could successfully listen and follow their instructions.
コースブックの最終ユニットのテーマが、健康的なライフスタイルだったことから、レッスンでも食品の種類やバランスの取れた食事、そして運動について英語での表現方法を学び、レッスンを進めていきました。
ある日のレッスンでは、オリジナルのヨガのポーズについて文章を書くことになりました。みんなの前で自分で考えたヨガのポーズをプレゼンテーションし、クラスメイト達にも同じポーズをとってもらうように指示しました。英語での説明や指示を正しく聞いて、それに沿って正しくポーズをとることができるかどうかを確認し合い、楽しくリラックスした雰囲気の中でリスニングとヨガの練習を行うことができました。
