Throughout the year we have been using part of the lessons to focus on spelling different words. Here the children review the keywords that could be in the wordsearch. Then they are given hints about the specific words they can find. Afterwards, they have to search and find the word. This seems to help the children remember the spelling and is a fun way to learn!
アフタースクール・Orangeクラスのレッスンの様子をご紹介いたします。
4月の新年度スタートから、レッスン時間の一部を使って、様々な英単語のスペリング（綴り）の練習を行っています。
こちらの写真は、生徒達がワードサーチに出題される可能性のあるキーワードを確認しているところです。その後、特定の単語に関するヒントが与えられ、その単語を探し出します。この方法はスペリングを記憶するのに役立ち、また楽しみながら学べるため生徒達にも大好評です！
We have been talking about subjects and classroom things. We have been focusing on how to talk about subjects and give an opinion about them. Here the children had to ask other pupils if they were “good at” these subjects. If the children are good at it then they can write their friends’ names. The aim was to get all 16 blocks and beat their friends to shout Bingo!
これまでのレッスンでは、様々な物事や学校での出来事について話す練習に取り組んできました。特に、ある物事について、自分の意見を述べる方法に焦点を当てています。
今回は「Good at / Bad at Bingo」を使って、シートに描かれているイラストを見ながら、クラスメイトに「○○は得意ですか？」と尋ねるアクティビティにチャレンジしました。もしそれが得意なものなら、マス内にその友達の名前を書くことができます。
できるだけ早く16マス全てを埋めて、「ビンゴ！」と一番に叫ぶことを競い合い、大変盛り上がりました。
In the classroom we have been practicing our writing skills. We made a schedule for a “Banana School”. Then the children had to decide on the different rules in the school. They had to write some things they should do and some things they should not do. It was interesting to hear the different rules involving bananas.
生徒達の書く力をさらに伸ばすべく、レッスンでは様々なライティングを行っています。
この日は「Banana School」という架空の学校をテーマに、1日の時間割を作成した後、その学校の様々なルールや規則を決めることになりました。生徒達は、「すべきこと（Should do）」と「してはいけないこと（Should not do）」を考えて、ジャーナルに書き出す課題に取り組みました。
バナナに関するユニークなルールがたくさん出てきて、とても楽しく興味深い活動になりました。
