Chicks, Sparrows and Owls
It has been a few weeks since their last Saturday School, but the children came in excited and ready for another fun-filled day! The preschool classes enjoyed their last day of water play, running around, splashing, and having fun on the new astroturf. It was a great way to enjoy the last bit of summer together!
ひさしぶりのサタデースクールでしたが、子ども達は元気に登校してくれました！幼稚園クラスも、今年度最後の水遊びでは、新しい芝生の上を走り回ったり、水を掛け合ったり、残暑を存分に楽しみました！
Blue Class and Advanced Orange
Blue Class and Advanced Orange came together for another exciting gym class! This week, they played “Dr. Dodgeball”—a game of dodgeball with a fun twist! If a player was hit by the ball, the paramedics came to the rescue, picking them up on a scooter and wheeling them over to the “hospital” (the mats).
BlueクラスとAdvanced Orangeクラスは、一緒にジムクラスを行いました！今週は『Dr. Dodgeball』というゲームを行い、通常のドッジボールに少しルールを加えた遊びです。ボールに当たると、救命士たちが助けに駆け付けます。けが人をスクーターに乗せ、病院（マットの上）に移動させました。
Chicks and Sparrows
Meanwhile, Chicks and Sparrows played “Waspital!” The wasps chased after the other children and tried to “sting” them. If a player got stung, they had to cover the spot with one of their hands, using it as a pretend bandage! The children had lots of fun running around and chasing their friends!
ChicksとSparrowsクラスは、『Waspital』を行いました。Wasp（スズメバチ）は子ども達を刺そうと追いかけ、刺された子は片手に包帯を巻いて救護を受けました。ハチから逃げ回ったり、友達を追いかけたり楽しそうに参加してくれました！
Pink and Purple
Continuing our theme of keeping our bodies healthy, Pink and Purple looked at different pictures and discussed whether each one showed something that was healthy or unhealthy for our bodies. Working in teams, the children shared their ideas and decided together which side each picture belonged on.
引き続き学習テーマ『健康』に着目し、PinkとPurpleクラスでは、数種類の絵を見ながら「健康」か「不健康」かを話し合いました。グループで取り組み、意見を交換しながら、健康と不健康に振り分けていきました。
Advanced Yellow
Advanced Yellow took the topic of healthy choices one step further by looking at different social situations. The children discussed how they might respond in each situation and thought about whether their choices would be healthy and positive ones. They shared their opinions with one another and learned that staying healthy is not only about taking care of our bodies, but also about the decisions we make in our everyday lives!
Advanced Yellowクラスは、『健康的な選択』についての学びをさらに深め、さまざまな場面でどのような選択をすることが大切なのかを考えました。それぞれの場面で、どのように応答するのか、また、その選択が健康でポジティブなものなのかを話し合いました。意見を交換し合いながら、健康でいることは体のケアをすることだけに留まらず、日々の生活の中で行う判断にもかかわることを学びました。
Chicks and Sparrows
To prepare for our upcoming dentist role-play, Chicks and Sparrows learned about foods that can make our teeth happy or unhappy! The children thought of different examples and worked together to decide which group each food belonged to. They did a great job using what they had learned to think about how the foods we eat can help us take care of our teeth!
まもなく行う『歯医者さんごっこ』の準備として、ChicksとSparrowsクラスでは、どの食べ物が歯をハッピーにするのか、それともアンハッピーにするのかを学びました。これまで学んできた、食べ物が歯のケアに影響することを考えながら、協力し合って、様々な食べ物グループ分けすることができました！
