Advanced Navy
Advanced Navy started their lesson with some speaking practice! The children were given a topic and challenged to speak freely about it for one whole minute. Some found it a little tricky and needed time to think about what to say next, while others absolutely loved the freedom to talk and wished they had even more time! It was a great opportunity to practice speaking spontaneously and expressing their ideas in English!
Advanced Navyは、スピーキング練習からレッスンをスタートしました！ 今回はお題を1つもらい、それについて1分間自由に英語で話すことにチャレンジ！話しながら次に何を言おうか考えるのが少し難しかった子もいれば、「もっと話したい！」と時間が足りないくらい楽しんでいた子もいました。自分の考えをその場で英語にして伝える、とても良い練習になりました！
Pink and Purple
Pink and Purple continued working on their Halloween comics! To help spark their imaginations, the children used “Who, What, Where” story dice to come up with fun and creative ideas. After drawing their stories onto paper, they thought about what their characters might say in each panel and began adding dialogue to bring their comics to life!
Pink and Purpleは、Halloweenのコミック作りの続きをしました！ 今回も「Who（だれ）・What（なに）・Where（どこ）」のStory Diceを使って、楽しいアイデアを考えました。思いついたストーリーを絵にした後は、「このキャラクターはどんなことを言うかな？」と、それぞれのコマに入れるセリフを考えることに挑戦しました！少しずつオリジナルのコミックが形になってきました。
Advanced Navy and Advanced Green
Advanced Navy and Advanced Green came together for a fun afternoon game called “Detonator”! One child stood in the middle with their eyes closed, saying “Tick… Tick…” while everyone else quickly passed a ball around. When the child shouted “BOOM!”, whoever was holding the ball was out! As the game went on, the children in the middle became surprisingly good at timing their explosions, keeping everyone on their toes!
午後のPlay Timeでは、Advanced NavyとAdvanced Greenが一緒に「Detonator（爆弾ゲーム）」を楽しみました！真ん中にいる子が目を閉じて「Tick… Tick…（チクタク…）」と言っている間に、周りの友だちはボールをどんどん回していきます。そして「BOOM！（ドカーン！）」の合図でボールを持っていた子はアウト！ゲームが進むにつれて、真ん中の子たちは爆発させるタイミングがどんどん上手になり、みんなドキドキしながら大盛り上がりでした！
Advanced Orange
With Halloween just around the corner, Advanced Orange got creative by making their very own haunted houses! These spooky houses also double as Halloween treat bags! The children loved adding their own unique touches, from doors that swing open to little monsters hiding behind windows. Each haunted house was full of personality, and we hope to send their spooky creations home next week!
Halloweenが近づいてきたので、Advanced Orangeはお化け屋敷作りに挑戦しました！実はこのお化け屋敷、Halloweenのお菓子を入れるバッグにもなるんです！子どもたちは自分だけのアイデアをたっぷり詰め込み、開け閉めできるドアを作ったり、窓の後ろにモンスターを隠したりと、工夫がいっぱい！それぞれ個性あふれる素敵なお化け屋敷ができあがってきました 来週にはお家に持って帰れる予定です！
Preschool Classes
Our preschool classes are off on an adventure around the world! From now until the end of November, the children will pretend to travel to different countries, and their very first destination was… Mexico!
The library became a special travel experience, where the children climbed aboard an imaginary boat and sailed to Mexico! Once they arrived, they were amazed by the colorful streets and excitedly pointed out everything interesting they could see. Of course, discovering their own shadows on the projector was another unexpected highlight!
Preschoolクラスでは、世界を巡る大冒険がいよいよスタートしました！これから11月末まで、いろいろな国へ旅行した気分を味わいながら楽しく学んでいきます。そして記念すべき最初の目的地は…メキシコ！
図書室が特別な旅行スポットに大変身！子どもたちはみんなで船に乗ったつもりになって、メキシコへ出発しました！ 到着すると、スクリーンに映し出されたカラフルな街並みに「わぁ〜！」と大興奮！「あれ見て！」といろいろなものを指さしながら、メキシコの景色を楽しみました！ そして、プロジェクターに自分たちの影が映ることにも大喜び！思いがけない発見もあった、楽しい旅行になりました♪
Chicks and Sparrows
Every great adventure needs a passport! At the end of their trip, Chicks and Sparrows visited our pretend customs area to get their passports stamped. With their first destination complete, there are still five more countries waiting to be explored! Where will our little travelers go next? That’s a surprise for another week! 😊
旅行といえば、やっぱりパスポート！ Chicks and Sparrowsは、旅行の最後に入国審査ごっこを楽しみました！特別に用意された入国審査エリアで、一人ひとりパスポートにスタンプをポンッ！
最初の国への旅を終え、残る目的地はあと5か国！ 次はどこの国に行くのかな？それは来週までのお楽しみです！😊
