Red and Advanced Orange
The weather was absolutely perfect today! After the rain the day before, the temperature was nice and cool, making it a great day to run around and enjoy some time outside on the astroturf. The children had lots of fun playing some of their favorite games, including hide-and-seek and tag with the teachers.
今日は外遊びにぴったりの天気でした！前日の雨のおかげで気温も涼しく、人工芝の上で思いっきり体を動かすことができました！子どもたちは大好きなかくれんぼや鬼ごっこを先生たちと楽しみ、元気いっぱい走り回っていました！
Chicks and Sparrows
For their gym activity, Chicks and Sparrows played a fun zookeeper game! The children pretended to be animals that had escaped from their cages, while the zookeepers had to catch them and bring them safely back. Of course, the animals weren’t going to make it easy! The children had lots of fun running away from the teachers and sneaking out of their cages again whenever they got the chance!
Gymでは「動物園ゲーム」に挑戦しました！子どもたちは檻から逃げ出した動物に大変身！飼育員役は、逃げた動物たちを捕まえて檻まで連れ戻します。でも、動物たちはそう簡単には捕まりません！先生たちから一生懸命逃げたり、隙を見つけてこっそり檻から脱走したり…！元気いっぱい走り回りながら、大盛り上がりのGymになりました！
Owls
The Owls learned about zoo animals using a YLE poster! After reviewing the animal vocabulary together, the children put their knowledge and speed to the test with a slap game. They listened carefully to the animal called out by the teacher and raced to be the first to touch the correct picture. The competition was fierce, and everyone had lots of fun counting how many animals they had collected at the end!
Owlsは、ケンブリッジヤングラーナーズ（YLE）のポスターを使って動物園にいる動物について学びました！みんなで英単語を復習した後は、「Slap Game」に挑戦しました。先生が言った動物をよ〜く聞いて、そのカードを見つけて素早くタッチします。みんなとても真剣で、大変盛り上がりました！最後は、自分が何枚ゲットできたのか、嬉しそうに数えていました。
Advanced Navy
Advanced Navy spent some time practicing their speaking skills using the YLE speaking posters. The children looked carefully at two similar pictures and were challenged to find and explain the differences between them. They had to pay close attention to even the smallest details while thinking about how to describe what they could see in English!
Advanced Navyは、ケンブリッジヤングラーナーズ（YLE）のポスターを使ってスピーキング練習を行いました。一見そっくりな2枚の絵ですが、よく見てみると少しずつ違うところがあります。子どもたちは小さな違いを探しながら、「In this picture it’s…But in this picture…」と英語で説明することにチャレンジしました。細かいところまでじっくり観察しながら、たくさんの違いを見つけることができました！
Advanced Yellow
Advanced Yellow continued working on the game cards for their life-sized board game project! The children especially enjoyed illustrating their cards and adding their own creative touches to make each one unique and fun to look at. Little by little, all the different pieces of their board games are starting to come together!
Advanced Yellowは、引き続き、等身大ボードゲームで使うゲームカード作りを行っています。今回はカードのイラストにも力を入れ、それぞれが自分のアイデアをたっぷり詰め込んだ、個性いっぱいのカードを作りました！「こんなカードにしよう！」「ここにも絵を描こう！」と楽しみながら取り組み、少しずつオリジナルボードゲームが完成に近づいています！
Red and Blue
Red and Blue added their own creative twists to their life-sized board games! This week, they came up with different exercises that players will have to do when they land on a special square. The children had some great ideas and even asked if they could invent some original exercise poses of their own!
RedとBlueも、等身大ボードゲームに楽しいアイデアをどんどん追加中です！今回は、特別なマスに止まった時にチャレンジする「エクササイズ」をみんなで考えました！「こんな運動はどう？」「オリジナルのポーズも作りたい！」と、楽しいアイデアが次々と飛び出しました！遊びながら体も動かせる、子どもたちらしい楽しいボードゲームになりそうです♪
