11月11日といえばポッキーの日！と勝手に思っていたのですが、
調べてみると実は11月11日は1年の中でも特に記念日が多い日なんだそうです。
例えば、チンアナゴの日、麺の日、たくあんの日、もやしの日、いい出会いの日などなど、面白い記念日がたくさん！

それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介いたします。
Today in Chicks and Sparrows we played a fun Alphabet game! We turned the flashcards over on the carpet and then tried to find different letters.
今日のChicksとSparrowsクラスでは、楽しいアルファベットゲームをしました！カーペットの上でフラッシュカードをひっくり返して、いろいろな文字を探します！カーペットの上でフラッシュカードをひっくり返し、いろいろな文字を探しました。
Today we practiced our descriptives in the Advanced Orange and Green Class. We took the chance to brainstorm different ones that go together and what they could be describing.
Advanced OrangeとGreenのクラスでは、形容詞の練習をしました。一緒になっている様々な単語をブレインストーミングし、それが何を表しているのかを考えました。
Today we played a spelling bee game in the Green/Orange/Purple class! We reviewed the vocabulary about things in the countryside and saw which team could spell the most words.
今日は、Green/Orange/Purpleクラスでスペリングビーゲームをしました！田舎にあるものについての単語を復習し、どのチームが一番多くの単語のスペルを書けるかを競いました。
The Wolves class continued their textbook practicing different body parts and practicing our listening skills too! We listened to the audio and colored in different things in colors that it told us. What a fun activity!
Wolvesのクラスでは、体の部位の練習とリスニングの練習をしました！音声を聞いて、その音声が教えてくれる様々なものに色を塗りました。とても楽しい活動でした！
Today the children enjoyed reading different holiday books in the library. It’s almost that season! We are so excited too!
今日、子どもたちは図書室で様々なホリデーブックを読みました。もうすぐホリデーシーズンだ！私たちもわくわくしています！
Today the children made their own recipe. We used food toys to bring a level of realism to our activity. We saw all sorts of yummy recipes from fruit pancakes to spaghetti!
今日、子どもたちは自分のレシピを作りました。食玩を使うことで、よりリアルなアクティビティになりました。フルーツパンケーキからスパゲッティまで、いろいろな種類のおいしいレシピが完成しました！
Today during tech time we practiced sentence building and spelling by using different games The children all seem to have ones that are their favorites too. 今日のテクニカルタイムでは、様々なゲームを使って文の組み立てとスペリングの練習をしました。
Today the Owls class made cute cupcakes and donuts using glue and shaving cream and paper! The children were surprised to see what happens when we mix shaving cream and glue together!
Owlsクラスでは、のりとシェービングクリームと紙を使って、かわいいカップケーキとドーナツを作りました！シェービングクリームとのりを混ぜるとどうなるのか？ホイップクリームが出来上がり、子どもたちは目を丸くして驚いていました！！
The cupcake we made with a cherry on top looked delicious. Too bad we can’t eat it! But we can bring it home to show off once they are dry.
チェリーをのせたカップケーキはおいしそうでした。食べられないのが残念！でも、お家に持って帰ってお披露目できるね。
Today during reading time we practiced using our blending skills to identify green words that were new to us. We also practiced some sight words too! I wonder where they will turn up in the story.
フォニックスサウンドを使って読む単語の練習をしました。物語の中のどこにその単語があるのか見つけるため、子どもたちは真剣に物語を読んでいました。
