Our after school Pink class has really been having fun with learning English and applying it to our daily lives! In our first unit, we introduced the characters that we will follow throughout our textbook, as well as became familiar with the Friendly Farm setting with practice for our Cambridge YLE exam. The students enjoyed playing games and learning how to talk about taking care of our planet and climate.
アフタースクールのPinkクラスの生徒達は、英語を学び、日常生活に生かすことを心から楽しんでいます！
新年度がスタートし、レッスンの最初のユニットでは、これから1年をかけて学ぶコースブック（テキスト）に登場するキャラクターを紹介し、オンライン教材に慣れ親しみながら、秋に行われるケンブリッジ国際児童英検（YLEテスト）に向けての準備も始めました。生徒達はゲームを楽しみながら、私達が暮らす地球や気候へどのように配慮していくべきか話し合いました。
For our first project, we made our Daily Schedule, using our art skills to decorate with stickers, markers, and sequins. The students enjoyed talking about what they do daily and weekly, utilising their new knowledge of adverbs of frequency, daily routines, and days of the week in English.
最初のプロジェクトでは、プリスクール時代に身につけたクラフトやアートの手法を使って、ステッカーやマーカーペン、スパンコールでデコレーションしたスケジュール表を作ることになりました。生徒達は、英語で頻度を表す副詞や日々のルーティン、曜日等に関する新しい知識を活用しながら、「毎日やること」や「毎週やること」について楽しく話し合いました。
We also started using the iPads to watch our coursebook videos and do assignments on CambridgeOne. The students helped each other to learn how to log in and complete homework on the website, and the students were proud to share their progress!
また、Technologyの時間にはiPadを使ってコースブックの動画を見たり、オンライン教材（CambridgeOne）で宿題に取り組むことも始めました。生徒達は互いに助け合いながら、ウェブサイトへのログイン方法や宿題のやり方を学び、さらなる新しい知識を得たことを誇らしげに話し合う姿が見られました。
For our third unit, we will continue to talk about our future jobs and career choices. The students have already enjoyed drawing themselves in costumes and learning present progressive by talking about what they are doing now. We will continue to practice for the YLE exam during class time as well.
これから学び始める3番目のユニットでは、将来の仕事やキャリアの選択について話し合う予定です。
既に生徒達は将来なりたい職業の服装を身につけた自分自身の絵を描いたり、現在自分がやっていることを言い表す方法として「現在進行形」を学びながら、楽しく英語学習を進めています。また、ケンブリッジ国際英検への対策として、実際の試験形式に慣れ親しみながら練習も行っていきたいと思います。
