5月23日のサタデースクールの様子をお届けします！
Blue Class
The Blue Class started the day with an exciting phonics warm-up! They used word tiles to build words and even spell their own names! By working in partners, the children helped each other search for the correct letters in their piles.
Blueクラスは、楽しいフォニックスのウォームアップから1日を始めました！文字のタイルを使って単語を作ったり、自分の名前を作りました！パートナーと一緒にお互いに必要なタイルを探しあう姿も見られました。
Preschool
The sound of the day was “d”! As soon as the teacher asked what words started with “d,” the children excitedly shouted, “Dinosaur!!” — which was coincidentally the word of the day! After reviewing the sounds they have been learning, the children challenged themselves to blend letters together to make words. Although blending is still a difficult concept, the children are becoming more confident with each new sound they learn!
この日は『d』のサウンドを練習しました！先生が『d』から始まる単語を聞くと、子どもたちは口をそろえて『Dinosaur!!』と答え、そのdinosaurこそ、今日の単語でした！今まで習ったサウンドを復習した後、みんなで1つずつのサウンドを混ぜて単語を作りました（ブレンディング）。ブレンディングはまだまだ難しいですが、新しいサウンドを学ぶたびにどんどん自信がついてきています！
Red Class
Because of all the construction outside, the playground has been reduced to less than half its usual size. However, the Red Class still found creative ways to have fun — especially with the giant blocks! The children worked together to build a small shop where classmates could “buy” blocks using pebbles as money.
外装工事で園庭が通常の半分になっている中でも、Redクラスは楽しむ方法を模索していて、特に大きなブロックが大人気です！みんなで協力して小さい店を建て、お金に見立てた小石でお客さんがお買いものに来るごっこ遊びも楽しみました。
Orange Class
The Elementary Classes learned about furniture and furnishings today! The children were divided into teams and challenged to place labels around the classroom. They had a blast finding funny and unexpected places to stick their labels, eagerly calling the teachers over to show off their ideas!
小学生クラスは、家具と家財道具について学びました！チームに分かれ、クラスの中の備品にラベル付けをしていきました。想像以上に楽しいアクティビティーとなり、物品にラベルを貼るたびに先生を呼んで、見せてくれました！
Advanced Green
During project time, the children finally completed their bedroom projects! Some carefully recreated their real bedrooms, while others designed their dream rooms filled with exciting details and decorations. The children were very proud of their work and loved sharing all the creative little touches they had added to make their rooms special.
Advanced Greenクラスのプロジェクトでは、ベッドルームがついに完成しました！自分のベッドルームを細かく再現した子もいれば、理想の部屋を作っている子も見受けられました。みんな、出来上がった作品に満足げで、どんな部屋ができたのか見せあっていました。
Preschool Classes
The Preschool Classes created little people puppets for their houses! As soon as they finished, the teachers quickly set up the houses on the carpet, transforming the classroom into a tiny neighborhood. The children were ecstatic as they rushed to go inside first, moving their puppets around the houses and happily greeting their friends.
プリスクールクラスでは、パペットを作りました！パペットができあがると、先日作った家を教室に広げ、小さな町ができあがりました。どの子も急ぎ足で家に入り、パペット同士であいさつをしたり、楽しんでいました！
