It’s been our second month in After School Blue class and students have done a great job of taking up the classroom routine. We have had lots of fun using our Power Up 2 Textbooks. Here they are drawing something they enjoy doing during their free time.
千里山田校・アフタースクールのBlueクラスでは、新年度がスタートして早や2ヶ月が経ちました。Blueクラスの生徒達は、この春当園のプリスクールを卒園したばかりの新・小学校1年生ですが、みんな日々のレッスンのルーティンにすっかり慣れたようです。
今年度、Blueクラスでは『Power Up 2』のコースブックを教材に使用しながら、毎回のレッスンを進めています。

We practiced using the present continuous tense in English and the students used it to play a fun game from their Power Up 2 Activity Book.
現在、Blueクラスのレッスンでは、英語の「現在進行形」を学んでいます。『Power Up 2』のアクティビティブックにあるゲームでは、楽しく現在進行形を使いながら、英文法を練習することができます。
During our review of the Days of the Week, we played a memory sequencing game. Students had to find all of the Days of the Week in order by the last person in line and… they did it! It was an exciting end to that day’s lesson.
ある日のレッスンでは、曜日を復習し、順番を覚えるゲームに取り組みました。
生徒達は、列の最後尾の人が指定した順番通りに、曜日のカードを全て見つけなければなりません。なかなかチャレンジングなゲームでしたが、みんな見事に成功し、賑やかに盛り上がってレッスンを締めくくることができました。
The students especially enjoy “The Friendly Farm” song and sing it any chance they get. Let’s have some more fun in Blue class!
時には、レッスンで英語の歌を歌うこともあります。Blueクラスの生徒達は『♪The Friendly Farm』という歌が特にお気に入りで、機会があればいつでも歌っています。
Blueクラスの皆さん、Great job！これからも一緒に楽しく英語を学んでいきましょうね！
