It is now the height of summer and Purple Class is going strong despite the heat! We started the year with talk of months and travel to all kinds of places. We recently wrapped up Unit 3 talking all about different kinds of competitions and events.
千里山田校・Purpleクラスの生徒達は、夏の暑さにも負けず頑張ってレッスンに励んでいます！
4月の新年度は、1年の月（12ヶ月）や旅行をテーマに話し合うことからスタートしました。先日は様々な種類の競技やイベントについて学び、コースブックのUnit 3の学習を締めくくりました。
Where should we go next? The children work in teams to present their own adventure and plans for their next adventures!

ある日のレッスンでは、生徒達がチームに分かれて、自分で考えた冒険旅行や、次の旅の計画のプレゼンテーションを行いました。
Passports please! Our book has a country theme with each chapter! When we get to a new unit- we visit a new country! And, when we visit a new country in the unit, we get our passports stamped!

Purpleクラスで学んでいるコースブックは、様々な「国」をテーマに、各章が構成されており、次のユニットに入ると、新しい国を訪れることになります。
レッスンでは新しい国を訪れるたびに、自分で作ったオリジナルのパスポートにスタンプを押してもらいます！
The best way to learn is to play. We play plenty of word games to learn what we need to succeed in English. We have recently been focusing on spelling words! It is always great to challenge ourselves when a tricky word comes along!
楽しみながら学ぶことはとても大切です。Purpleクラスでは、英単語ゲームを取り入れながら、毎回レッスンを進めています。
また、最近では英単語のスペリングにも力を入れています。生徒達には、初めての難しい単語に出会った時、自分自身に挑戦することを楽しんでほしいと思っています。
In our time in the class we learned how to talk about different experiences in the past as well as how to talk about things that may or might happen. We now look forward to Unit 4 where we will talk about the future and how to make promises in English (and also keep them).
最近のレッスンでは、過去のさまざまな体験について話すことや、これから起こるかもしれないことについて話す方法を学びました。
間もなくコースブックのUnit 4に入る予定で、この章では「未来」について話したり、約束をしたり（そしてそれを守ったり）することについて学んでいきます。
