Owls:
Owls start every morning with a fun Good Morning song! They hold hands to make a circle and walk around together, occasionally weaving in and out of the circle as part of their dance. It’s a great way to start the day!
Owlsクラスでは、毎朝楽しい「Good Morning」の歌から一日が始まります！みんなで手をつないで輪になり、歌に合わせて歩いたり、輪の中をくぐり抜けたりしながらダンスを楽しんでいます。楽しく一日をスタートするのにぴったりの活動です！
Pink and Purple:
Pink and Purple practiced their reading skills with a matching game! Each child received a card with either a question or an answer and had to find the friend with the matching card. The children paired up and read their cards together to see if they made sense!
Pink and Purpleクラスは、マッチングゲームをしながらリーディングの練習をしました！子どもたちは質問または答えが書かれたカードを一枚ずつ受け取り、自分のカードとペアになるカードを持っている友だちを探しました。ペアになった後は、一緒にカードを読んで、質問と答えがきちんと合っているか確認しました！
Advanced Orange and Yellow:
The rain unfortunately cut Yellow Class’s outside play a little short, but luckily, Advanced Orange was just about to start a fun animal guessing game, so Yellow Class joined in!
One child was blindfolded while their friends moved around them like different animals. After calling out, “Stop!”, they pointed to one of their classmates, who then had to make their best animal sound. The child in the middle listened carefully and tried to guess which friend was behind the mystery noise!
There were plenty of funny animal sounds and lots of careful listening as the children tried their best not to give themselves away!
残念ながら雨が降り始め、Yellowクラスは外遊びを少し早めに切り上げることになりました。ちょうどその頃、Advanced Orangeクラスが楽しい動物当てゲームを始めるところだったので、Yellowクラスも一緒に参加しました！
一人が目隠しをし、その周りをお友だちがいろいろな動物になりきって動きます。「Stop!」と言って誰か一人を指さすと、選ばれたお友だちは動物の鳴き声を披露！真ん中のお友だちは、その声をよーく聞いて、誰の声なのかを当てました。
面白い動物の鳴き声がたくさん聞こえる中、正体がバレないように工夫する子どもたちと、一生懸命耳を澄ませて当てようとする子どもたち。みんなで楽しく盛り上がりました！
Advanced Navy:
Today was finally the day to finish and play our board game projects! Advanced Navy spent a little more time putting the final touches on their games before they were ready to play. They even created a jail area—a place unlucky players might end up if they drew the wrong card!
今日はついに、これまで作ってきたボードゲームを完成させて遊ぶ日！Advanced Navyクラスは、まずゲームに最後の仕上げをしてから、いよいよ実際に遊んでみました。なんと「Jail（牢屋）」エリアまで登場！カードの引きが悪いと、牢屋に行ってしまうことも…！
Red and Blue:
Once it was time to play, the classes had lots of fun adding their own rules and giving their games a unique twist! For Red and Blue, landing on certain spaces allowed players to pick up different colored cards, each with an exercise they had to complete!
ゲームの時間になると、それぞれのクラスがオリジナルのルールを加え、自分たちらしいゲームにアレンジして楽しみました！Red and Blueクラスでは、特定のマスに止まると色のついたカードを引き、そこに書かれたエクササイズに挑戦！遊びながら体もたくさん動かしました！
Advanced Orange, Pink and Purple:
Advanced Orange, Pink and Purple decided to play their board games together! Pink and Purple worked especially well with the younger first-year Advanced Orange children, so we mixed the classes together to make teams. The teams then competed to see how many times they could reach the goal!
Advanced Orange、Pink、Purpleクラスは、みんなで一緒にボードゲームを楽しみました！Pink and Purpleの子どもたちは、年下のAdvanced Orangeの子どもたちとも上手に協力していたので、クラスをミックスしてチームを作ることにしました。チームごとに、何回ゴールまでたどり着けるかを競いながら、楽しくゲームに挑戦しました！
Chicks and Sparrows:
Meanwhile, our preschool classes put all their hard work into action with their dentist role-play! They set up a reception counter, where they asked their patients why they had come to the dentist before showing them to the dentist’s office.
一方、Preschoolクラスでは、これまで準備してきたものを使って歯医者さんごっこに挑戦しました！まずは受付カウンターで患者さんに「今日はどうしましたか？」と尋ねてから、診察室までご案内しました。
Once inside, the patients were very well taken care of by our little dentists! The dentists used the giant toothbrushes they had made during craft time to brush their patients’ teeth before sending them on their way.
診察室では、かわいい歯医者さんたちが患者さんをしっかり診察！クラフトの時間に作った大きな歯ブラシを使って患者さんの歯をきれいに磨き、無事に診察終了です。これまで作ってきたものを実際のごっこ遊びに使いながら、楽しく活動することができました！
