Pink and Purple
Today, Advanced Pink and Purple kicked off the day with a matching game! The children worked in groups, asking other groups if they had cards that matched theirs. To make things a little more challenging, the cards contained questions and answers that the children had to read and match!
Pinkクラス、Purpleクラスの子ども達は、マッチングゲームから1日をスタートさせました！グループに分かれ、他のグループに質問しながら、自分たちのカードと合うカードを探しました。
今回はカードに英語の質問文と答えが書かれているため、文章をよく読んで正しい組み合わせを見つけなければなりません。少し難しいゲームでしたが、楽しみながら英語を読む練習ができました！
Advanced Orange and Yellow
Advanced Orange and Yellow came together for a fun gym class! They decided to play a game called “Ghostbusters,” where the children in the middle tried to catch the ghosts and ghouls running around the playing field. With so many children participating, the game was even more exciting!
Advanced OrangeクラスとYellowクラスは、合同でジムの時間を楽しみました！
今回は「ゴーストバスターズ」というゲームを行いました。体育館の中央にいる子たちが、逃げ回るゴーストを捕まえるゲームで、普段のゲームより楽しさが倍増したようで、とても盛り上がりました！
Chicks and Sparrows
To celebrate Halloween, the preschool classes enjoyed reading some Halloween-themed books! One of the teachers even dressed up in a banana costume to match the story! The children were so excited, making storytime even more fun and immersive!
ハロウィンにちなんで、プリスクールの子どもたちはハロウィンの絵本を楽しみました！なんと、先生が絵本に合わせてバナナのコスチュームを着て登場！子ども達は大喜びで、いつも以上に楽しい読み聞かせの時間になりました！
Elementary Classes
Meanwhile, the elementary classes wrapped up their projects for the month! Many children completed their Halloween comics and had the opportunity to share their stories with their classmates. It was interesting to see how the children came up with such different stories, even when using similar characters!
小学生クラスでは、今月取り組んできたハロウィンの漫画を完成させました！完成した漫画をクラスメイトと見せ合う時間もあり、同じようなキャラクターを使っていても、さまざまなストーリーができ、それぞれのアイデアが詰まった面白い漫画ができあがりました！
Pink and Purple
Another project the children worked on was creating their own Halloween baskets! This was a favorite activity among many classes, as it gave the children the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild. Some children chose to make haunted houses inspired by the examples, while others came up with their own cute or spooky designs!
もう1つのプロジェクトでは、ハロウィンバスケットを完成させました！この活動は、多くのクラスで楽しんでくれ、みんな自由にアイデアを出しながらバスケット作りを楽しみました。見本を参考にお化け屋敷を作る子もいれば、かわいらしいデザインや、ちょっぴり怖いデザインに挑戦する子もいました。それぞれの個性が光る、素敵なバスケットができあがりました！
Advanced Navy
After finishing their projects, many children were eager to show off their Halloween baskets! In Advanced Navy, the children had already packed their baskets away in their bags. However, as soon as I entered the classroom to check on them, they excitedly pulled them back out to show me their creations!
We hope their baskets came in handy during last week’s Halloween Festival!
完成したハロウィンバスケットを、嬉しそうに見せてくれる子もたくさんいました！Advanced Navyクラスでは、すでにバスケットをカバンにしまっていたのですが、私が教室に様子を見に行くと、すぐにカバンから取り出して、嬉しそうに作品を見せてくれました！
10/31（土）に開催したハロウィンフェスティバルでも、作ったバスケットを持ってきている子を見かけ、嬉しかったです！
Preschool Classes
At the end of the day, the preschool classes went on another imaginary trip around the world. This time, their destination was… Egypt!
During their adventure, the children explored bustling markets, rode camels, entered mysterious pyramids, and even encountered… mummies!?
After their exciting journey, the children made their very own mummy crafts as a keepsake from their trip. Once the crafts are dry, we hope the children will enjoy taking them home!
1日の終わりには、プリスクールの子どもたちがまたまた世界旅行ごっこに出かけました！
今回の行き先は……エジプト！
エジプトでは、市場を歩いたり、ラクダに乗ったり、ピラミッドの中に入ったり……なんと、ミイラにも遭遇しました！旅行の後は、思い出にミイラのクラフトを作りました。作品が乾いたら、お家に持ち帰る予定です！
