The Green Class does many fun writing exercises in our journals meant to stimulate their brains and practice their writing skills. In this exercise they we picked a place, a form of transportation, and something you could see in that place at random by drawing colored balls. Then, they had to use all three of their words and turn it into a sentence. For example; “I went to the river by bicycle and saw an alien.” This was just a quick and simple exercise but we do all sorts of writing activities from writing full stories to fixing mistakes in sentences.

Greenクラスでは、頭脳を刺激しながらWritingスキルを高めていくために、ジャーナルに楽しく文章を書く練習を多く取り入れています。
この日のWritingの練習では、場所（目的地）や交通手段、その場所で見られるものをカラーボールを引いてランダムに選び、その選んだ3つの単語を全て使って文章を作成しました。完成した文章の一例です：「I went to 【the river】 by【 bicycle】 and saw 【an alien】.（私は【自転車】で【川】へ行って、【宇宙人】に出会いました）」。これは日々のレッスンの中ですぐに取り組めるシンプルな練習ですが、他にも物語を書いたり、文章の中の間違いを見つけて直したりと、様々な方法でWritingを学んでいます。
Here, the Green Class is playing a game as well as prepping for the YLE exam. This is a vocabulary focused game where everyone picks two flashcards at random and has to make a sentence using them. Once everyone has made their sentence they tell it to the class and the class tries to guess which two of the vocabulary words they used. The Green Class made some very imaginative and interesting sentences for this game.
また、レッスン中には、毎年秋に開催されるケンブリッジ国際児童英検（YLEテスト）に向けての試験対策や、ゲームなどの楽しいアクティビティも取り入れています。
こちらはボキャブラリー（語彙）をテーマにしたゲームの様子です。生徒達はそれぞれランダムに2枚のフラッシュカードを選び、それを使って文章を作ります。全員の文章が出来上がったら、それをみんなの前で発表し、他の生徒達はどの2つの単語を使って文章を作成したかを当てるのです。この日もGreenクラスの生徒達が作った文章は、どれも大変想像力豊かで面白いものばかりで、レッスンは大いに盛り上がりました。
This is a game we like to play during our Circle Time portions of the class, as it makes for an excellent warm up. It is a telephone game type activity where instead of whispering a word to each other, they write the word on the backs of each other. The Green Class always gets so exciting trying to figure out if they got the word right or if they can figure out the answer before it is revealed.
レッスン中のサークルタイムでは、ウォーミングアップとしてゲームを行うこともあります。こちらは伝言ゲームの一つで、お互いに単語を口に出して言う代わりに、相手の背中にその単語を指で書いています。自分が予想する単語が正しいかどうか、あるいは答え合わせの前にその単語を当てることができるか、みんないつもドキドキ・ワクワクしながらチャレンジしています。
