As the children learn about our beautiful planet, they also learn about large natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and Earthquakes! We spent some time playing with an Earthquake simulator toy, where they got a chance to build up a structure, and then test how strong it is against Earthquakes level 1-5! The children enjoyed seeing how tall they could build something that would stand up to the higher level Earthquakes!
5月のアフタースクールRedクラスのレッスンでは、私達の住む美しい地球について学ぶと同時に、竜巻やハリケーン、洪水、地震などの大規模な自然災害について学びました。
地震シミュレーターを紹介した時には、構造物を作って、それがレベル1～5の地震に対してどれだけ強いかを試してみました！どれくらいの高さのものを作れば、より高いレベルの地震に耐えられるか、生徒達は色々と条件を変えながら実験を楽しんでいました！
The children have a lot of different vocabulary words that they are learning, and knowing how to properly spell them is very important! This is something that we practice every week, through different games or activities! In this one, the kids got to try labeling the body parts on a big body that was drawn on the board! They are encouraged to try spelling the words on their own, without fear of making mistakes!
現在レッスンでは様々な英単語を学んでいますが、その綴り（スペリング）を正しく知ることはとても重要です。そのため、毎週レッスンでゲームやアクティビティを通して練習を行っています。こちらの写真は、ホワイトボードに描かれた大きな人体に、身体のパーツをラベリングしているところです。生徒達は、間違いを恐れずに、自分で単語のスペリングにチャレンジしています！
Each week, we spend a lot of time in our course books with the children! Our current unit is about “Our Beautiful Planet”, so the kids have spent time following our famous circus troupe: Diversicus, as they have gone on vacation and traveled the world! On this page, we followed a comic strip, detailing a few of our characters trip as they went camping and to the beach!
また、毎回のレッスンでは、コース教材の学習に多くの時間を費やしています！現在のユニットは「Our Beautiful Planet（我々の美しい地球）」というテーマで、生徒達は有名なサーカス団・Diversicusが休暇で世界中を旅して回っている様子を追ってきました！こちらの写真で、みんなが熱心に読んでいるこのページでは、キャンプやビーチに出かけた登場人物の様子がイラストで紹介されています！
