Advanced Orange and Blue Class:
The theme of this month is “At the Doctor’s”! To celebrate, the children played a game of “Waspital.” The wasps (taggers) “stung” the other players, who had to cover the spot where they were stung with a “bandage”—their own hand! The Advanced Orange and Blue classes combined their gym time, making the game even more exciting!
8月の学習テーマは『お医者さん』です。Advanced OrangeとBlueクラスは『Waspital』というゲームを行いました。蜂になった人は、他のプレーヤーを針で刺しに回ります。刺された人は、刺された箇所を自分の手でバンドエイドのようにカバーしなければいけません。2クラス合同で行ったので、大変盛り上がりました！
Pink Class:
After learning the vocabulary for this month’s theme, the Pink Class played a fast-paced game of rock, paper, scissors! Teams started on opposite sides and had to say the names of all the flashcards as they made their way across the room. If they “crashed” into a member of the opposing team, they had to play rock, paper, scissors. The loser had to return and switch places with another teammate. The children cheered each other on as they raced to reach the other side!
今月の学習テーマに関するボキャブラリーを学んだあと、Pinkクラスはスピードアップしたじゃんけんを行いました。それぞれのチームは教室の両端からスタートし、机に並んだカードを見てボキャブラリーを言いながら進みます。相手と出会ったところでじゃんけんをし、負けると次のメンバーが最初から再スタートとなります。相手陣地に到着できるよう、チームメイトを応援する姿が見られました！
Red and Blue:
Meanwhile, the Red and Blue classes played a game of Concentration using the theme cards. The children always enjoy seeing who can collect the most matching pairs and comparing their results with their friends!
Redクラス・Blueクラスは、フラッシュカードを使って神経衰弱を行いました。みんな、他の子よりも多くカードが集められるよう競い合ったり、友達と集めたカードの枚数を比較していました！
Pink and Purple:
The next big project is all about keeping ourselves healthy! To introduce the theme, the elementary classes watched a video about exercise, learning about different types of physical activity and how they help keep our bodies healthy and strong.
次の大きなプロジェクトは、『健康』についてです！このテーマを伝えるために、小学生クラスではエクササイズや様々な体を動かす方法、またそれがどのように体を健康に強くするのか、というビデオを鑑賞しました。
Advanced Orange and Blue:
The highlight of the day was the start of Water Play season! Water tables were set up where the children could splash, squirt each other with water guns and watering cans, and cool off together. There were plenty of smiles as everyone had fun running around and getting soaked!
この日もWater Play（水遊び）を楽しみました！水の入ったウォーターテーブルは、子ども達がお互いに水をかけたり、水鉄砲などを使いやすい位置に設置しています。ずぶ濡れになりながら、走り回って楽しんでいました！
Preschool:
This year, we introduced a brand-new water play activity: water sliders! The children used water to roll different toys down the sliders and watched them splash into the green tub below. They loved experimenting with different objects, discovering which ones rolled easily and which needed a little extra help.
今年は水遊びにウォータースライダーが加わりました！上流から水を流しながら、おもちゃやボールがスライダーを滑っていき、最後には大きなコンテナにドボンと到着します。いろんなものを流して、どれが一番早く流れるかなど実験していました。
