In each lesson we usually start with a spelling activity. This is vital for reading and writing as well as being useful for our YLE tests too. Here the children were searching the classroom for spelling words in a race to find and write all of the words correctly. It is a fun and exciting way to work on our spelling and vocabulary.
毎回、レッスンのはじめにスペリングのアクティビティーを行っています。スペリングはリーディングやライティングだけでなく、ケンブリッジ国際児童英検（YLEテスト）の練習にも欠かせません。今回のアクティビティーは、クラスの中に隠れているスペリングを探し出し、間違えずにすべて書き取る挑戦で、スペリングとボキャブラリーを楽しく学ぶ時間となりました！
Every lesson we have will include some aspect of YLE practice, whether that comes from a targeted activity, or from actual past paper practice. The children can be seen working hard on a reading and writing activity. Whilst still difficult, the children always give their best and enjoy the practice.
レッスンには、アクティビティーや過去問題などから、YLEテストの要素も取り入れるようにしています。Blueクラスの子ども達はリーディングやライティングのアクティビティーに熱心で、時に難しいアクティビティーもありますが、みんなよく頑張って、楽しみながら演習を受けてくれています。
After Obon, the children wanted to share some of the exciting things they have been doing during their summer vacations. We decided to make postcards to share with other members of the class, displaying our best memories of the holidays. The children are seen working on the front of the postcard, with the address and writing being on the back of the postcard, ready to be delivered.
お盆休み明け、夏休みの思い出をクラスで共有すべく、絵葉書を書くことにしました。まずは、楽しかった思い出を絵に描いて、宛名と差出人を書いて仕上げる予定です。
