The After School Red Class has welcomed summer with a bang! While we started the year with introductions and personality shields, an awesome class contract and some time telling crafts, we are now well into our second unit of our book.
千里山田校アフタースクール・Redクラスは、元気いっぱいにこの夏をスタートしました！
新年度は、生徒達一人ひとりの自己紹介や「Personality Shields（自分自身を表す盾）」の作成、クラスルール作り、そしてクラフト制作などの活動からスタートしました。現在は、コースブックのユニット2に入り、しっかり取り組んでいます。

自分自身について表現する「Personality Shields」を作成しました。この盾を見れば、生徒達それぞれの性格や家族構成、好きなこと＆苦手なことなどが一目で分かります！
Cheelic and strawfee? The children had a great time matching words to make delicious food and things that we can eat for breakfast!

ある日のレッスンでは、ばらばらに分解した単語を自由に組み合わせ、おいしそうな食べ物や朝食に食べられるものをテーマに、オリジナルの英単語を作ってみました。
ユニークな響きの単語が次々と出来上がり、生徒達も発音してみては一緒に大笑い！笑顔があふれる楽しい時間になりました。
Anyone for pizza? We can make the tastiest looking dishes which we will use in our mini restaurant project for Unit 2!

この日は、色とりどりの画用紙を使ってピザ作りにチャレンジ！
とても美味しそうなピザが完成しました。こちらはコースブックのユニット2に登場する「ミニレストラン・プロジェクト」で使用する予定です！
During our time together we have discovered our special love for travelling and finding out about different countries around the world. We can use English when we visit different places in the future, so we are practising useful communication for travelling! In our book we are also covering travel to different countries. Our first stop is Italy and then we will continue on to countries in Asia!
Let’s continue jet setting in the Red class and our imagination will take us everywhere!
Redクラスの生徒達と4月から一緒に学ぶ中で、私達は皆、旅行や世界中の国々について知ることが大好きだということが分かりました。
これから将来、様々な国を訪れる際には英語が話せることが大きな強味となるため、レッスンでは旅先で役立つ英語でのコミュニケーションについても練習していこうと思います。
コースブックでも、世界の国々への旅をテーマに、学習を進めてまいります。最初の目的地はイタリア、その後は、アジアの国々へと旅を続けていく予定です。
私達、Redクラスの世界旅行はこれからもまだまだ続きます！
